Yes Naval blockade was being talked about in the case of a war! No one is saying that India will blockade BD for no reason whatsoever. IF BD starts hostilities against India(thats war already) India will respond with naval blockade amongst other things.

Go and read up on histrory about why and how IA fought in SL.It was an insurgency, just like how USA is fighting Taliban now. War with BD will be nothing like that.

Indians are shaking with fear to see the rise of Muslims in Assam. Soon Assam will be control by Bangla speaking muslims. Good news for Bangladesh however nightmare for Hindu India. This is happen because Assam has been populated by Indian muslims from all across India. It's muslims nature and cultural phenomena that we like to stay among our people. This also happen in west.

Plus after living for so long with Hindus, Christains in an open democratic society do you think they would want to unite with Bangladesh? And let's hypothetically say Hindus actually felt threatened then how do you think Bengali Muslims (Who Pakistanis thought weren't fit enough like Pathans and Punjabis to protect the country against weak Hindu Indians and only made 2% of armed forces despite being in the majority) would face Martial races of Gorkhas and Bhutias of North East?

The only way to get those illegal migrants out of this country is to find them out with proof that they are illegals and make their life as much hell as possible. These people should be taken in small small groups and relocate to different camps all around India so that they wont be able to organise and should make their life as hell as possible. They should be made to rethink that their own country was way better than India to live in. They will either commit suicide or will flee this country within months if we do so. And fence the border completely to make sure that no more illegals enters our land. But the important fact is that our leaders lack the guts to do so.
