Both of these individuals were not Afghan Talis. Correction needed.

Proof? These are obviously not Pakistani taliban leaders. I have extensively gone through the hierarchy of Pakistani Taliban leaders, accessories and spokespersons and have never come across their name. Afghan Taliban I have less information on the lower tier commanders though I know Haqqani, Gul Bahadur, Bahawal Khan and Hekmatyar (were for Hekmatyar-he is now in government despite launching thousands of rockets in Kabul). Why is Afghanistan dealing with terrorists like Hekmatyar anyway? And why should Pakistan be blamed then if Afghanistan itself is signing peace deals with taliban commanders?

You shouldn't be afraid calling spade-a spade, the reality is that you will be doing Pakistan a favor because you are looking at the bigger picture in an objective way.

For instance I dont know what your opinion of Hussain Haqqani but I have read his books and have also seen how defended Pakistan when the OBL episode happened, alas most of the Pakistani consider him bad but I think he is real patriot who is telling the story from another perspective to which I agree.

Do you consider Gulbudding Hekmatyar a patriot as well ?

But these two individuals that you mentioned were not Afghan Talis, this is not a an allegation but a factual statement from my side. Where did you hear that these two were Afghan Talis?

As far as I can remember Pakistan never handed over any of the bad apples they apprehended. Pakistan for instance captured mullah baradar because he was secretly negotiating peace with Karzai, so you have to understand why we afghans are apprehensive.

The litmus test would be if Pakistan takes out Haqqani or hand them over to Afghanistan, if that happens then there is a geninue change in Pakistani outlook. As for Afghans taking out TTP, it is our policy we don't do it to ask favor for Pakistan we do it now because we dont differentiate between these maggots.

Too early to judge intentions at least optics depicts something positive.While this story is contradicting the logic :

1) Sartaj Aziz requesting Afg to intermediate between Indian and Pakistan

Lolz ... Everybody saying that Pakistan don't want Indians presence/influence/or whatever in Afghanistan. On other hand requesting same Afghanistan to become party to Pakistan and India. Isn't self contradictory (You know GHQ )

2) Practical steps

Arresting there commanders does not count to practical step. He can officially demand them to expose out the double game

Regarding Mullah Baradar it's a different story.He was not negotiating ,rather was organizing a insurgency in 2010 when apprehended in a joint raid by CIA and pakistani side. He wasTaliban’s second-in-command, the right hand man of Taliban supreme commander Mullah Omar at that time.
He was released in 2013 on Karzai request to negotiate a peace process and was persuaded by Pakistan to do the same.As far as i know Karzai never demanded to repatriate him to Kabul due to the Taliban reaction. His worth was not as much as before since at that time taliban denounce any peace process from a person in custody.

Too early to doubt that is what i am saying. Haqqani is a hot cake same can be said about Mullah Fazzullah
