Why do you have them under curfew in the first place? I thought they are part of the Indian democracy now... So once you threw away 370 article the army should have left because this is what the Kashmiris wanted right? The Indian sense of democracy is very unique when compared to the rest of the world. Which democratic country imposes curfews on its citizens? Under a proper democracy you have the right to protest without being harassed with rubber bullets and tear gas.

India is a unique democracy due to its large population and has to follow different governing procedures - if not then people die senselessly. You cannot apply western democratic ideals in all aspects due to the fact most people are uneducated.

Why wouldn’t it happen? There are Mass graves in Kashmir due to Indian security forces and it’s not futile to impose curfews to reduce senseless killings - it would be more irresponsible to just declare the bad news and walk away as you somehow prefer.

The topic is about the curfew and India is justified to impose it - no human rights are being breached unless the Kashmiris want to directly oppose the curfew.
