Those who slaughter cows have no right to live in India: Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat

If that was the comment of a Pakistani member I won't respond, but an elite and that too Indian Member giving such statement needs some reply

i am not talking about "hindus" but the sangh parivar whose one leader, maneka gandhi

Provide me the source of your information that Mrs Meneka Ganghi is associated with sangh Parivar, other than she is a leader in BJP which is a political party, registered according to the law and the constitution of India. She is a popular animal right activist, hope you know it very well

banned the killing of stray dogs during her term as "environment minister" in the bjp government of 1998 to 2004, and that lead to increase in dog population, stray and within compounds, to the present 50+ million, leading to not only brutal dog attacks on humans ( and deaths ) but also to the almost-extinct status of cats.

Before making such comment. pls check what Mrs Meneka Gandhi have to said on that

HYDERABAD: An inquiry by the State Human Rights Commission into the dog bite problem here on Monday witnessed heated arguments between animal rights activists led by MP Maneka Gandhi and bureaucrats who were accused of killing dogs indiscriminately by using poison or attacking them with rods.

Ms. Gandhi and several other animal lovers, including actor Amala Akkineni, strongly protested against the action of municipal authorities in hiring dogcatchers and giving them targets for each operation. The teams caught dogs that were already sterilised and vaccinated and subjected them to trauma. They lassoed the dogs and swung them in the air several times before finally dumping them in vans, they said.

Some activists even alleged that the teams took bribes from people to let dogs out of their clutches. The officials, however, denied they resorted to killings. There was no need for them to kill as the situation was not alarming. Only rabies-affected and ferocious dogs were killed, they maintained.

Ms. Gandhi made a strong plea for effective implementation of the Animal Birth Control (ABC) programme to check dog population in the State. She also sought a blanket order on the lines of the one issued by the Tamil Nadu Government banning the killing of dogs. She said the ABC programme of simultaneously sterilising and vaccinating dogs proved successful in curbing dog bites in several States.

A study by World Health Organisation had proved that the ratio of dog bite would go up with killing of dogs. This was because there was a dog-for-dog replacement as hostilities between dogs and human beings increased.

The dog-for-dog principle worked on the basis of food source available for the stray dogs. The dogs shared the quantity of food available in a particular locality among themselves. If some of them were caught and killed by municipal authorities, dogs from elsewhere would take their place. The new dogs are strangers in that area and they immediately exhibited aggression.

maneka gandhi must be tried for the genocide of cats and for murder of humans by dogs...

Ridiculous post no doubt.

she is a psycho... and dogs are everywhere in india now, not only on roads and in houses, but also in films, on tv and they have special dog-friendly restaurants in bangalore... this is madness !!

She is a psycho -- Ps give me a brake. I remember the incidence when an elephant, killed his rider in the kerela during the elephant football match to entertain the foreigners, because , the elephant was asking for water for way too long but he was beaten and forced to display in the football match. Then the elephant was tied with chains in its all four legs, and spread them tight, so that he could not sit, nor could stand comfortably, and this torture continues for 3 days, and the foreign visitors who were getting entertained gives sympathy and pleeeded the authority to release the animal from the distress, but it all continues, then Meneka Gandhi have to intervene when some local person called Meneka Gandhi, in New Delhi. Do you know several foreign tourist pledged to never come to India and tell everyone whom they knew to never visit India. I am happy to have the Psycho person, if he/she know that its the life given by the supreme with equal right to survive.

So you want to kill all dogs. First of all humans made the dogs from the wolves, because they were the only animal who were social just like humans and have family values and love that binds them each other in a family. If in 10 houses one house adopt a single dog, than there won't be any stray dog.

.
"Anyone who kills cows, no matter which community he belongs to is India's biggest enemy and has no right to live in the country," Rawat said addressing a function on the occasion of Gopashtami here yesterday.

These Hindutva Bhakturds first stop all export of beef and cow leather exports and their industry in India. All the shoes, belts, wallets, purses, bags, jackets, pants, furniture, car upholstrey made of cow leather be thrown away. Let these Bhakturds first clear off these products from their homes before asking others.

So you want to kill all dogs. First of all humans made the dogs from the wolves,

it is the other way round... the wolf is a kind of dog.

because they were the only animal who were social just like humans and have family values and love that binds them each other in a family.

i don't know what "family values" you ascribe to dogs... they are filthy things and among the few creatures to exhibit male homosexuality and that too openly.

you have probably never been around cats so you don't know the love and loyalty they show to each other and their human companions... it is not for nothing that they were worshiped in ancient egypt and supremely respected by among the greatest men in history. :)

If in 10 houses one house adopt a single dog, than there won't be any stray dog.

the issue is not about the legal difference between stray dog and compound dog... the issue is that dogs have killed people and must be acted against.

when leopards have entered villages ( the villages themselves encroaching on forest land ) in search of water or some chickens or goats or having lost their way, many times idiotic villagers have killed the leopards brutally ( i saw one vid and it made me cry ) or have pressurized the forest department to shoot the leopards.

when some people and their ignorant leaders like maneka gandhi can allow leopards being killed ( unjustly ), why can't they allow dogs to be killed for actual crimes?? is it because the leopard is a cat?? this happens with tigers too... and remember the delhi zoo tiger incident from last year and the demand by some to kill the tiger?? while there is the separate point that zoos are a cruel and must be abolished, here is a sensible opinion about that incident ( Delhi Zoo Incident And The Unanswered Questions - Vargis Khan ).

this is a small list of dog attacks on humans in recent years and dog penchant for human meat... the first four are about india and the last two are about pakistan...

Provide me the source of your information that Mrs Meneka Ganghi is associated with sangh Parivar, other than she is a leader in BJP which is a political party, registered according to the law and the constitution of India.

1. bjp is the electoral front of the sangh parivar and its predecessor was the "jana sangh"... bjp is the biggest vote-bank party in india... will bjp agree to disassociate from rss, bajrang dal, ram sena etc?? will maneka gandhi agree to disassociate from those groups??

2. her son, varun, also a bjp leader, has made aggressive/violence-filled speeches, including a well-known one against muslims... did maneka disassociate from her son or criticize him at least??

3. varun's full name is feroze varun gandhi, the "feroze" probably from his parsi maternal grandfather, feroze gandhi... why don't varun or his mother use the full name of varun?? why doesn't their party, the bjp, ever use the full name??

registered according to the law and the constitution of India.

1. the "law of the land" will change if supreme court should decide to ban all parties which work on the basis of religion, whether this is bjp or the aimim of the owaisis.

2. if there is socialist change in india, or even the "aam aadmi party" joins a progressive coalition at a new center, there will be changes, big and small, to the constitution... for example, the aap's idea of "swaraj" decentralized governance and direct-democracy is opposite to india's current administrative structure and will require the constitution to change.

A study by World Health Organisation had proved that the ratio of dog bite would go up with killing of dogs. This was because there was a dog-for-dog replacement as hostilities between dogs and human beings increased.

that is simply a wrong assumption.

firstly, it is not as if in the present circumstance, the dog gangs in almost every street in a certain area are not aggressive... the dogs have have attacked humans and killed many were not suddenly transplanted into a empty area... the dog gangs were of those area and some of those dogs were there for years.

secondly, if dogs are killed all over a city uniformly, dog attacks will reduce obviously.

The dog-for-dog principle worked on the basis of food source available for the stray dogs. The dogs shared the quantity of food available in a particular locality among themselves.

If some of them were caught and killed by municipal authorities, dogs from elsewhere would take their place. The new dogs are strangers in that area and they immediately exhibited aggression.

come on, dogs fight each other for food... it is not as if they are a socialist bunch with the motto "sharing is caring"... dogs fight within their gang for food and with the gangs from the other streets in that area... and again, all these dogs are not fresh transplatees but will have lived in that area for long.

as a experiment, you may wake early in the morning when the morning garbage from houses is being given to the muncipal workers... observe the dogs then.

She is a popular animal right activist, hope you know it very well

she is popular dog lover. :) please refer to my previous post about her attitude to cats.

Ridiculous post no doubt.

if not a conducted genocide technically, it is at least willful irresponsibility, and the result being almost-extinct status of cats can be called genocide. :)

did maneka gandhi ever talk about this...

from ( Temple elephants… and what lies beneath | Peepli Project Blog )...
At the entrance to the temple is Devi. She has been chained to this spot for 35 years. As a female, she is never taken to festivals, so has never, ever moved. Not one inch. Prof Nameer has asked the temple leaders (politicians, businessmen) to allow the animals to be walked for one hour a day; they refused.

from ( Help us expose the torture and abuse of temple elephants in India with the Gods in Shackles documentary - Food Revolution Network )...
Their decades of painful cries for help are falling on deaf ears, as they endure barbaric torture and deprivation of their basic necessities of life. They are being captured from the wild and used in temple rituals and glamorous cultural festivals that draw thousands of tourists from around the world, oblivious to the suffering of a sentient being.

They are the endangered Asian elephants of India, the nation’s heritage animal, also considered to be the embodiment of Lord Ganesh, a Hindu God with an elephant head, who is revered and worshipped by people from all walks of life.
that is such a contradiction.

from ( Beauty Without Cruelty - India )...
This is not where the torture ends. Diagonally opposite legs of calves are chained: one leg with a 20 foot long chain, the other with a 2 foot chain, and the chains are inter-changed periodically until the bruises on the elephant’s legs become hard and calloused. Between April 2008 and February 2010, the Madras Veterinary College examined captive elephants (temples, camps and zoos) in Tamil Nadu and at the Guruvayur Devaswam, Kerala, and came to the conclusion that foot problems constitute the single most important ailment that the pachyderms suffer from during their life time. Out of 53 elephants in temples of TN, 48 had minor foot ailments, while 23 had major foot ailments such as cracked and split nails, excess cuticular growth above and in between nails, hardened footpad growth, abrasion of foot sole, foot rot, abscesses in the nail, cuticle and footpad, arthritis, analysis of joints and degenerative joint disease which require regular filing, polishing and application of medicated oils. If these ailments are not attended to in time they can eventually result in painful death.

There is no “loving bond” between mahout and elephant. Temple elephants have an unwritten right to kill one, two, or even three mahouts during their lifetime. The majestic elephant named Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan who is the star of two feature films and annually participates in 200 festivals @ Rs 65,000/- a day has a secret background of having crept up on his two mahouts as they slept on the road side, picking them up with his trunk, and trampling them to death. This was in 1999 after the festival in Puthunaaram, Kerala.

The elephant is frightened of the mahout and when this fear turns into anger and vengeance (directed at the mahout, the animal’s torturer) a tusker displays aggressive behaviour and becomes musth (a physiological phenomenon when there is increase in sexual hormones with a discharge from the gland between the eye and ear, resulting in aggression) during which humans have been trampled. For example in 2009, 1 of the 7 caparisoned elephants lined up on the temple grounds, killed a woman by picking her up by its trunk and flinging her in the air; this triggered a stampede leaving 3 serious of the 19 others injured. In April 2011 a temple elephant in Kollam gored its mahout to death; and in December 2011 four mahouts were killed and several injured by overworked elephants who turned violent in different places of Kerala. In two of these four incidents the temple elephants had been so angry that they had also gored and repeatedly stomped the mahouts to death.
In 2012 the newspapers reported that an elephant named Sunder at the famous Jyotiba Devsthan in Kolhapur District had been chained for two months because the new mahout was finding it difficult to control the animal. The animal had injuries including one on his eye, from sharp instruments. No relief was forthcoming till British former Beatles Paul McCartney wrote to the Maharashtra Forest Minister – that too temporary relief because the poor elephant was back in chains a month later! Animal activists then requested that the uncontrollable elephant be moved to a sanctuary as people were at risk of being harmed or killed by him. However towards the end of 2013, the elephant was still seen shackled in a shed whilst the MLA of the area claimed to be in the process of setting up the best rehabilitation centre for it! Eventually, the Supreme Court ordered the Kolhapur Forest Division to transfer Sunder to a rehabilitation centre in Bengaluru by 15 June 2014. That’s when his life story was widely publicised: born in Punisi village of Assam in 2000 the elephant was known as Santu during his 7-year stay there. In 2007 he was “gifted” (read sold) to some one in Bihar “for engaging in religious functions and processions” who changed his name from Santu to Sunder. Two months later Sunder was “donated” (read re-sold) to the Kolhapur temple via an MLA. He suffered the 1,763 km long truck ride from Patna to Sangli, and then continued to suffer for another 7-8 years at the hands of cruel mahouts living in a tin shed near the Jyotiba temple.
In June 2014 an animal activist saw the training or taming of a baby elephant at the Shimoga camp which she also filmed. Men were mercilessly hitting a baby elephant which had a rope tied tight around its neck. It fell down on its side and was crying out in pain. The men said this was the way a wild animal is tamed. Several representations and public petitions have been given to the Government of India and Karnataka state government, but the cruelty continues. BWC feels elephants should remain in the wild and not be domesticated.

Earlier, in September 2013 one of our BWC members who visited BR Hills near Mysore was also shocked to see a chained baby elephant moving abnormally at Kgudi. On inquiring, she was informed that they were training him to be a temple elephant. She sent us a video clip which we forwarded to the Minister of Environment and Forests (Government of India) pointing out the sterotypic behaviour, etc. the animal was being subjected to. We added that in 1998 BWC had complained to the Ministry about the illegality of an Elephant Show in Mudumalai Sanctuary (no different to a circus) following which it was ordered to be immediately stopped. We asked for the elephant training to be investigated and stopped there and elsewhere too, if occurring.

whatever she might say, the supreme court is now awakened to the dog menace ( indian supreme court speaks against the dog menace )...
If Dushyant Dave, the senior lawyer assisting Supreme Court as an amicus curiae in the case wherein the judges are deciding on steps to control the stray dog menace across the country, has his way, the canines on Delhi's streets are in big trouble. Dave feels that nearly four lakh stray dogs in the Capital are an eyesore and urgent measures were called for to remove them from the streets.

"In Delhi there are hundreds and thousands of stray dogs. Several persons are getting bitten every day. They must be removed. Recently there was also an incident where a little girl who was hiding at a place to escape from a dog which was chasing her, got raped," Dave submitted to a bench of Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Prafullah Chandra Pant.

Height of Indian democracy ends at cows & beef ?

These Hindutva Bhakturds do not respect cows but force others to follow their dictats. The Indian cows are eating garbage on streets and the Hindus should buy them from dairy framers when they longer can produce and care for them. These Bhakturds wear shoes, belts and wallets on daily basis but want to force others from eating beef. The beef industry produces the cow hides which are used to for their shoes, belts, wallets, purses, bags, jeackets. etc. They have to purge themselves from cow leather products before they force others. The Indian soldiers serving in accupied Siachen glaciers should give up their comfortable leather boots and wear faux leather Rexine boots.

It will be best in Indian democracy,s interests that they should show love & respect to cows by taken them to their Parliament & PM house as a symbol of respect ?
& should tell Indian peoples they must marry one cow per family ?lolzz

.
So cow for you is humman ?lolzz
Will you marry one of them ?lolzz
Let me try in different way this time ....
Cow is holy figure to us .... So on our land we expect every citizen to extend the gratitude towards cow ...... N I myself know few Mumbai Christians who don't consume the cow meat out of the gratitude towards Hindus....

Prophet is holy figure to you so you would also expect Indians not to indulge in french style of secularism out the same gratitude to be extended to our Muslim brethren n buddy we have graciously done that so far .....

But the moot question remains if someone doesn't respect my sentiment they why we should care about sensitivities of hyper insensitive ppl.....

Sure you can do what ever you want , as you can see what France is facing after that ?are you ready for that ?
If cow is holy figure to you then why not you keep them to your homes ?why let them wondering ,pissing & doing intercourse in front of dam public ?
What next chicken your holy figure too?
Then eggs ?
Then what next ?
One thing you should also keep in your mind this is PAKISTAN DEFENCE FOURM , here we do what we like to do , we are not here to listen some hinduism,s wonders ?
I respect it as your religion , i dont care if you wants to take a bath with the pissss of cows which i think you do it regularly ?lolzz
but if you going to use it as a source of social control to me ? no way I'm going to accept that , cause I don't live in India .

The mugger crocodile (mugger much ) is a good alternative for leather (not sure about its meat though :bad:). Maybe farming it would help increase it its numbers
