Because Temples are built according to certain principles and values that are inherent in Hinduism. They serve to propagate Hindu values and not christian values or Islamic values.

The Beauty of the Temple is not the main principle or Purpose.

The Hindu temples never had domes but were later adopted from Muslim Masjid architecture. Taj Mahal is quintessentially Muslim building with a dome. The dome of this temple do represent influence of Muslim and European architecture but not the Hindu Temple architecture.

After failing to prove the claim that the Taj Mahal and St. Peter's Basilica were both originally Hindu Temples, it was decided that they would make a clone of the Basilica to outshine the Taj Mahal.

Yes I do have a problem with Hindu Temples being built with Islamic or Christian style architecture.

I see it as a step of digesting Hindu culture and excreting out glorification of our Invaders and Oppressors.

There perversity of the whole act is more glaring than the beauty.

They are free to use this style of architecture for ANY other building other than a Temple.

When they do that to a temple this is what it is equivalent too. A Man dressed as a Women. Do you find this Beautiful ?
