Am I am the only one to notice that this "temple" looks more like a Cathedral ?
There is little or NO Indian element to it and it certainly do not follow any laws of Temple Architecture.
I am going to guess its ISKON "temple" build by Europeans who "discovered Hinduism".
Temple Architecture guidelines.
It is an European building. Considering it is being funded by Albert Ford, it is not surprising.
Subverting Hinduism ...... one step at a time
Actually all concept of this one is looks similar to Islamic Architecture
For example if you look Dome of that, it look similar to
But changes in Pattern
A church concept.
why not accepting both are beautiful... one with historical and other one is modern marvel... do we need to compare a structure with centuries old architecture and other one under construction....
Agreed, an open place could have added more beauty.location kuch jham nahe rahe mujhy... it must be in open place.
Mayapur , West Bengal . Temple of Vedic Planitarium .i admit the visual appeal of the second pic is much more.
what is the name of that temple and where is it?
Umm.. no.
Just the shine of a building or the size of the minarets don't make a archelogical symbol. You guys have to concoct mythological stories to make the site attractable !
New India Architecture : Temple of the Vedic PlanetariumCan someone post an original pic of this very temple? Or may b not if its still under construction.
