What does this have to do with anything? V6s and V8s aren't available in China because of tax policy and emissions law. If 1.4 billion Chinese people drove fuel-inefficient cars like Americans do the planet would become unlivable. 2.0L is about the largest displacement engine available in China.

All models are allowed to sell in China, the V8 engine cars just need to pay much higher tax (like 100%+ or so).

That's why a V8 Benz S600 in China cost the price of a sporting car like F50 in US.

Even so, I find it far more impressive to squeeze performance and efficiency out of a small displacement engine than to go the brute force route of adding more cylinders - any retarded monkey can do that, which is why American cars are designed that way.

If you want power, electric and hybrid powertrains are the way to go. This behemoth

sh*ts all over any Porsche Cayenne, for less than half the price.
