Let me make it simple
Pakistan is parlimentary democracy(people choose around 350 members who choose leader)

He had slim majority(178) he lost majority when one of the three smaller groups(9 members) that support him join the opposite side which has 9+ groups
The.oppsoite side now has 174 numbers vs his around 169
