On a Military forum a modicum of knowledge of the subject would be handy.

Indian military ' psyche' as you call it is biased towards the clear , present & established danger that exists in the form of Pakistan. The threat from the North which is lower in priority is factored in through other means.

Now, can Armoured Divisions be employed in the mountains ?

Islamic armies ? What are those ? When were last seen ? Nations that cannot generate unanimity on sighting the moon can hardly be expected to raise joint armies.

You are wrong to suggest that armies came from the area that now is Pakistan. They came from further west & the area that now is Pakistan was the first to be overrun & virtually no opposition was offered . The places where such armies were contested are in India - Panipat.

You guys should stop living in reflected glory of nations / regions that subjugated you too when you were Hindus.

It is the Hindus who stand out for despite having been exposed to the worst kind of pressure the religion & people still flourish. Contrast this with the areas in Af & Pak which where fundamentalists imposed sharia and banned everything including the radio - & the people gave in.
