Btw, in Turkey you cannot get legally married before a doctor carries out medical examination and both need to have their blood checked to exclude genetic diseases.

The STD test is the communicable disease test, that includes Hepatitis, TB etc, and is done before an employment / residency visa is stamped on your passport. This is a different test than the one done prior to getting married.

But if one knows the right kind of people in Pakistan they can make good choices. For example, one cant go wrong with the region of Faisalabad and the region south of Lahore all the way up to Multan. People in these regions are highly trustworthy.

Ewww!! I love my family, cousins included, but geez even an open minded girl like me has her limits. Marrying your cousin? Eww.

Reasons are mainly
1)keeping it safe people trust their nephews and nieces so parents trust a cousin more

2)Property in a cousin marriage stays inside the family
3)Whatever clan or tribe or ethnic group you may belong to you can marry into that easily if you marry your cousin

4)Its thought of as a uniting the family thing


Do i support cousin marriage well unless you plan on being childless i wont root for it but i wont judge you if you do that personally i hate my female cousins if i had my way i would chop them into small pieces and feed those pieces to wild animals
