Things that make you a proud Pakistani?

I admit i wasn't that patriotic before i left for Malaysia. Ever since I came here i came to realize how special my own country is in terms of numerous things and the things that I as a Pakistani can be proud of.

1 . Sports
4 times world champion in Hockey , 2 times world champion in cricket , 2 of the greatest squash players of all time (Jehangir khan and Jansher khan). The fact that we contributed in revolutionizing 3 sports in the world makes me extremely proud.

2. Music
We have produced some of the greatest Musicians. Nusrat fateh ali khan , Rahat fateh ali khan , Shafqat Amanat , Ghulam ali , Atif aslam , Nazia hassan , Junoon ,strings , vital signs and the list goes on. How many countries can say they produced such great talent?

3. Our Natural beauty
Honestly The Alps , Andes or any natural terrain is pretty tame to what we have in our northern region . have been fortunate enough to visit Swat and Kaghan and the scenery is just jaw dropping beautiful .

To be honest, we suck at most sports now a days, our Music industry died long time ago, most of our top artists gone to Bollywood, And our most beautiful area SWAT was run by Talibans for years.

So sad times for us, but there's still hope.


Our resolve to fight against Terrorism and revive from the mess we're in also the utter resolve and Hope among masses to reshape the country makes me proud .

We're never out of Hope and resolve, thats what makes me proud .
