What's new

There will be no voting tomorrow, Speaker will exercise his powers - Arshad Sharif

IK is taking the road not previously taken as far as Pak is concerned....

It's the time to panic for the US policymakers! It might be one such rare moments when the "neutrals" might ask for "do more" instead of always being asked so! I am pretty sure they're enjoying the game...

Wdyum bhai ? Please clarify

For Those who ask why Imran Khan waited 20 days to expose the American conspiracy:
Basically, the people who are asking this question are actually asking for some common sense from blind sheep following Imran Khan and to try and save Pakistan from Imran Khan who is trying to drown the country in a pit.

There is no conspiracy, absolutely nothing at all. If the US was really that entrenched into our politics, they would have never allowed Imran Khan to become Prime Minister; and that is based on what he said in his speech today that the US has a dossier on Imran Khan and that's why they want to remove him.....someone should tell the half-mind that the dossier would have existed before he became a PM and the US could just as easily have bought the 28 odd electibles, 11 odd independents and 17 odd allies to ensure he never became our PM......infact, they could have just paid the military to retract their absolute support and Imran Khan would have died with the dream of becoming a PM!

So, folks, let's be real and accept that the US is neither behind any so called saazish nor that interested in our affairs. It was a simple message conveyed to our Consular staff that relations are not good between the 2 countries under Imran Khan and so on. Factual position!

If the speaker/deputy speaker play any more dirty tricks, they will be committing contempt of court and will be facing the music accordingly.

I have assumed it's damn clear! IMO Pak is now a "political" battleground where the USA is fighting tooth and nail against China. It's obvious who is supported by whom. The Pak establishment has declared themselves "neutral", at least officially. Now, the USA must be seeking their help to settle the matter for them. What reply do you think they'd give??

Disagree

1- Speaker of Pakistan can reject the petition again
2- Assembly is not Bound to Opinion of Supreme court in it's Day to Day operation

Article 69, Constitution of Pakistan

Furthermore , no "Action" can be taken by any court against Prime Minister or President or National Assembly speaker read #2 item

Prime Minister of Pakistan , President of Pakistan , Speaker of National Assembly of Pakistan are free to impose their Will

SUPREME COURT has been bluffing (pretending to act tough) when they have zero powers

SUPREME COURT IS POWERLESS IN THIS CASE

@V. Makarov DONALD you cheapskate why did you not pay them more??? I am reconsidering your promotion.

Dear Mr. President,
This is but a small hiccup. According to our sources, the voting on the no-confidence motion will take place very soon. The regime-change has taken course, and Mr. Khan cannot do anything about it. We have every institution of Pakistan on our payroll. Recently, we also made contact with the Chief Justice of The Supreme Court of Pakistan, and he showed willingness to work with our administration. However, he has demanded some generous compensation for his cooperation.

We are monitoring the situation closely, and will keep you informed.

Yours sincerely,
Donald Lu.

And who will defend that constitution? It will be Supreme Court, right? What happens when someone breaks the law during a Parliament's session? Does the Speaker hold absolute authority?

Even the Government's highest lawyer, the Attorney General of Pakistan, refused to defend the action of the Deputy Speaker NA and further acknowledged that the Speaker does not enjoy absolute authority and hence was also bound by the law. He further stated that the Supreme Court holds jurisdiction of Parliamentary Procedure where the law/constitution is violated.

By the way, people here are rejoicing the violation of the constitution of Pakistan by a man who has clearly lost his majority and is clinging to power through illegal actions. Bravo!!

Typical Rank in Government as we know Military in Pakistan is Really similar rank as Prime Minister but they are under Prime Minister

Rank 1- Head State President
Rank 2 - Prime Minister (Who has most authority)
Rank 3- Speaker Assembly : Back up to President in case they can't continue
Rank 4- Parliament
Rank 5- Military (Army / Airforce / Navy)
Rank 5- Supreme Court
Rank 6- Member of Parliament / Senators

Supreme court's powers are limited by Article 6

No confidence motion is illegal as it is built on , manipulation of Opposing Political Party members , This is Illegal to do based on Article 63A

1649449159605.png

Example: "PTI Member who are not happy cannot go against Imran Khan and vote against PTI , specially if Imran Khan has directed officials to vote for him"

No interpretation is needed because it is written in plain English a grade 10 student in Pakistan can explain the English as it is very simple

Supreme Court , ignoring Article 69 and Article63A and giving their thought is just a opinion

Not Enforceable

Public !!! Will have the day tomorrow with PDM

What will happen when the state violates the constitution? The PM violates it? The President violates it? Everything eventually lands in the Supreme Court, right?

Rank 5- Military (Army / Airforce / Navy)
Wrong. Military is under ministry of defense under the cabinet of PM

What happens when SC violates constitution by poking its unnecessary long nose in the matters of assembly?
