There is no God , There is no Fate - Steven Hawking

The decision of who goes to Hell is with God only.

Wouldn't it be rational and logical for you to read the translation of The Quran even if it is to gain an insight and to better assess the others perspective?

No one is stopping you from reading other than yourself.

We study science, review the theories etc like many of you here have. But how many have studied The Quran? Where's the logic in the debate when you can't see the other side at all or have very little if any primary knowledge of the other side.

I have read the Bible numerous times, I want to try and read the Quran next. I have also studied Buddhism and Taoism to some degree.

After reading the Bible I found it incredibly fascinating and interesting, but does that make it more true than any other Holy Book out there, of which every religion has one?

There are thousands of religions and Gods out there, which one is correct, and why?

Also, if you check the other posts on this thread, one of your fellow Muslims taught me a prayer to seek guidance and I have tried it several times so far. It does make me feel good and relaxed, in a similar way to meditation does, but thus far I have not received any response (that I could recognize at least).

I am looking for answers, I am an Agnostic which means I am undecided, and waiting for more evidence. Currently Science is giving me answers which are testable and observable (such as the effects of gravity or electricity). But there are deeper questions which lie outside the realm of Science (modern Science breaks down at the point of any singularity including the Big Bang), and I am equally interested in those answers, if there are any to be found.

While Mr Steven Hawking may be big deal now in few years from now no one will remember his name , that is his fate

Stephen Hawking is on the same level as Galileo, Newton, Einstein. He is in the history books forever. Hawking radiation is no slouch either.

To be honest Lucifer is pretty bad ***. He kills pagan gods for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert.

. .
Most of his theories will be rejected or changed in next 100-200 years
Exactly maybe people may think of Stephan Hawking nowadays, but 20 years down the road, people will forget him. And the new generation won't think of him or even know him.

Oh wait some have already disapproved his theory

Hawking radiation is pretty much proven. That's why scientists are confident mini black holes produced by Large Hadron Collider evaporate very quickly and pose no danger to Earth.

Galileo was best scientist in the 1600s. Newton was best scientist in the 1700s. Maxwell was best scientist in the 1800s. Einstein was best scientist in the 1900s. Hawking was best scientist in the 2000s.

Islam taught us to seek for Knowledge, To Question everything that is around us.
Questioning the existence of God or/and his creations isn't forbidden. But when a suitable answer is given to the one asking, Then He/She shall not turn/Run from it.
Seeking knowledge is one the main "condition" in Islam, Therefore you are in the good path.

You shall read the Quran, I believe your are a Logical person and you will be surprised by what you could find in it. Science-wise also.

Here I let this statement.

Science is not about seeking answers. Science is about deduction based on observation. Science forbids questioning. Science is based on observation that is not rejectable by any sane being. No sane being can question the laws discovered by science.

You have an interesting definition of "Science". I'm just glad the 99.9999% of scientist across Human History didn't bet on yours Def... I wouldn't be able to "Exchange" on such deeply subject via the Internet right now...

And who remembers those scientists. They are dead now. People don't care about them anymore.

Soon Stephan Hawking will be forgotten as well.

Forgotten by who? He'll be in the history books forever. Will you be? I doubt you will be in the history books. Stephen Hawking accomplished tremendously to mankind. That's why he's in the history books. You have not accomplished anything. So why should you be in the history books?

Quran is for all to read and decide for themselves.

Whereas Science, especially astrology, is in a few hands with no access to public to even challenge anything. Yet you expect everyone to believe what a handful are saying? As I said, scientists are your priests (who can't be questioned) and science is your god.

To you your gods and priests.
The highlighted -- is utter BULLSHIT.

Clearly a lack of understanding of the scientific method -- verification.

Science encourages questions and values skepticism.

There is a difference between 'doubt' and 'skepticism'. Being 'doubtful' is simply being uncertain without any other condition. On the other hand, being 'skeptical' is always accompanied by being open minded and willing to analyze the claim. Science encourages skepticism. Religion does not or not to the same degree as Science does. At best, a religionist encourages doubts about other religions, but not his/her own.

Science is not 'out to get God' of any god of any religion. Science explains the mechanics of the universe and in that quest, Science have made the universe incrementally clearer than any religion have tried the same to explain the godhood of any religion that claimed to have a god.

Scientists from all over can agree on the nature and characteristics of iron (Fe), but how many religionists documented and agreed upon the existence of angels and their nature and characteristics, eh? How about Hell? How does Hell reconcile with reincarnation? Why do Asiatic religions believes in the embodiment of spirits in every objects but the three major Abrahamic religions do not believe? Who is correct? Any evidence for the concept of a 'spirit' at all, and am not talking about the alcoholic version of the word?

Science is about HOW the universe works. Religion is about WHY the universe exist. Most scientists do not tread into religious territories but religionists do not reciprocate that respect and avoidance. Your comment -- the highlighted -- is an excellent example of that.

Science is not about questioning. You can only sense electromagnetic radiation in the visible spectrum. You cannot sense electromagnetic radiation in the radio spectrum. But you cannot question radio waves, which has been proven by science. People can question this god or that god, this angel or that angel, this heaven or that heaven, this hell or that hell, but no one can question what has been proven by science. No one can question electromagnetic radiation in the infrared spectrum or electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet spectrum. No one can question the speed of light. No one can question nuclear reactions in atoms. No one can question subatomic particles. No one can question white light is the combination of all the colors. No one can question science. That is the difference between religion and science. Religion is about questioning. Science forbids questioning. That is why people who like science tend to be atheists, while people who like religions tend to not like science.

I never claimed to have accomplished anything.
Nice try though.

Same goes to you ;).

I hope you are able to read the Quran one day and find the answers you are looking for.

There is primary information and most of astrology is secondary information to us minions. That's the case with astrology.

Has anyone discovered how the thousands of blocks of granite, around the world, were cut to precision by the ancients? Black holes and whatnot theories but can't figure out what's right in front that can be touched as well.

Anyways, the challenge is there for you and will be there till you death. Let's see if you have the ability to take it on, no scientist has either.
