Theft or Espionage, The inside story of Kuwaiti Delegations Wallet stealing

I cannot believe that Iran would do this. If anything it looks like a setup to make problems between Iran and Pakistan.

Very cheap behaviour.

There needs to be suitable reprisal by the league of nations towards the nation the diplomat represents.

A ban as a voting member for an X number of years if not a complete ban.

This is simply ridiculous man. Who does this?

Cheers, Doc

The guy is a patriot, collecting money for thyr Dams.....by hook or crook. Small country, small govt., small PM and small theft.....doesn't matter. Dam toh banna chahiye.
Yup, big country, has big thieves even if the small PM sits in a big office.
The world's biggest shoplifters; India ranks No. 1!

Lol , can't understand why Pakistani govt never clearly mentions "holy" Iran by her name.
Do you wash the soap before hands. !!!!
The investigation is still going on.....let's wait and see the outcome.

All traitors should be beheaded. If he was working for Iranian intelligence he is an enemy of Pakistan. We should execute him publicly.
You do know Qatar comes top on the list - try to think beyond your sectarian impulse. Iran has always hostile relation with GCC. But Qatar isssue is hot right now ...

. . . .
He would b better being thief but now a traitor will b another star in his cap...
But i found discrepancy in these statements bcz there r othr devices which can b used differently...

.
Several questions come to mind, why was the bag or wallet left unattended, since we know there were others present in the room, why did the culprit still take the risk and isn't it ironic that the person filming was just focused on this individual as if he knew something was going to happen...I.E the person was going to pick up the wallet.
I am not sure whether the zooming was done later when checking feed. The circumstances surrounding this are scarce. Whether the delegation temporarily went somewhere or other items were also left behind.

This however does not look espionage from distance. Possibly done to sabotage this meeting on someones behest but I am sure Quwaiti wouldn't have been carrying substantial enough cash.

Bottomline is our media leak happy Gov assholes should be taken to task.

*Theft or Espionage?*

Everyone is surprised that how a senior officer of grade 20 can drop himself to such a low level that he will steal wallet of a member of the visiting Kuwaiti delegation and risk his credibility, service and reputation as well as bring bad name and shame to the country. Mr. Zarar Haider, an officer of grade 20 in the Economic Affairs Division is named and shamed as a ‘pickpocket’ but there is something more astonishing revealed during preliminary investigation by a premium *intelligence agency* of the country.

According to the sources, considering stealing of the wallet something unusual and beyond comprehension by such a high ranking officer, the authorities started to find some reason or logic behind the apparently a very cheap attempt by the senior officer.
Sources revealed that during brief investigation of the incident by the officers of the intelligence, the accused officer Zrar Haider confessed that he did it to place a detective electronic device in the belongings of the visiting delegation at the behest of the intelligence of a neighboring Muslim country which is currently having tense relations with GCC members.

The officer has been working for the neighboring Muslim country for quite some time, however further details are yet to be investigated.

The device would give location details, movement details as well as hearing of the surroundings of the holder.

Zrar Haider was also tasked by the intelligence of the neighboring Muslim country to provide details of the recent interactions of Pakistan’s financial teams with Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Initial investigation of the incident has worried authorities about the ingress of foreign intelligence within Pakistani bureaucracy. There may be a network of the officers working for some other countries. It has been decided that the incident will be taken seriously and further investigations will be conducted.

And that's how a simple, local theft case turns into a treason, international case. Simple wow.

Itchy trigger finger on the holier than thou gun I see.

A neighbouring country. That could mean our neighbour or a neighbour of Kuwait. It's not explicit is it. If it was our neighbour (as I interpreted) then it's probably Iran, as they recently have had issues with the Gulf Arab countries. If its Kuwait neighbour, then it would likely be Qatar.

I dont have a sectarian impulse, you mistake me for someone else.I merely interpreted the statement differently.

Either way off with his head.
