The future is all-electric and self-driving cars.
We are well within sight of an era where a car (yours or a shared one) picks you up outside your home, self-drives you to your destination, and then drives off to some kind of induction station to recharge, Then later either that one or another one picks you up and drives you home.

Have you heard of the news a self-drives got hack? The danger exists and I don't see how the govt will allow such vehicle to operate.

Those that were affected obviously aren't true self-driving cars because they are not being sold yet.

However many cars these days already have their electronics hooked up to the brakes and steering so the car can do emergency breaking or lane assist. So once you do something like this you expose yourself to the possibility of a hack.
