These days Pakistan is reeling from re-emergence of terrorism which was suppose to be controlled under Military's Zarb-e-Azab operation , carried out by former Army Chief General (Rtd) Raheel Shareef. In past 6 days there has been seven terror incidents in which over 100 people have lost their valuable lives. The general consensus in the country is that terror outfits like Jamat ul Ahrar , TTP , or ISIS operating from Afghanistan are behind these heinous activities and have re grouped and giving a blow back to the Zarb-e-Azab operation.
Today our Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa has gave stern warning to Afghanistan and Afghan envoy has been summoned in GHQ asking for explanation that why Afghan soil is being used against Pakistan .
I do not deny the fact that the terror outfits operating from Afghanistan are behind the recent terror attacks but one should think more deeply to see the timing of these attacks and how they are synchronized by the development of the Panama Leak case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif . As we have seen in the past that whenever the Government of Nawaz Sharif is in threat , all of a sudden either their are bomb blasts within the country or Indian /Afghan firing from across the border and hence all attention is diverted away from the Government.
Isnt this trend too obvious now? Cant our military and security agencies see that the real enemy is no one else but the political elite who are ready to destroy our country and take lives of innocent people so as their theft and plunder of resources of Pakistan can remain hidden? Does not our military establishment know who is behind the Dawn Leaks , maligning the Pakistan military and hence security of the country ?
Even a layman can tell that our enemies namely USA / UK/ India / Afghan Government are always there to help Nawaz Sharif and rest of the corrupt political elite including Asif Ali Zardari or Altaf Hussain by pressing the terror button to divert attention from Panama Case or any other move by genuine opposition of Imran Khan against the corrupt elite.
Our real enemies are not the so called Jamaat ul Ahrar or few rag tag terror outfits but the corrupt political elite and the big powers who are supporting them . This all is dirty nexus which has taken lives of our 70,000 innocent Pakistanis and caused great damage to our economy as well as morale of the nation.
If General Qamar Bajwa and rest of military establishment is serious in saving the country from terrorism then the first and foremost step is to catch the biggest culprit which is Nawaz Sharif himself . He can be easily implicated in Dawn Leaks under military act without any breach of the Constitution and can be dismissed from his office. Later a full scale operation can be conducted against the corrupt political leaders , bureaucrats, media and business tycoons , NGOs and all those accomplices of this so called "Ashrafia Badmashia " which has held our country hostage in the name of "Democracy" . Once this clean up operation is done then I am sure our military will be better equipped to face the threats posed by our foreign enemies .
We can not face our external enemies unless we clean up our house from their agents first . Remember that no war can be won unless we are not secure internally . We have already seen this in case of East Pakistan debacle .
I hope our military establishment will take the right steps and take action against our real enemy which is the Prime Minister himself and his supporters rather then wasting their time against catching the mercenaries in another country . We need to remove the roots of our problem and rest of the tree will come down itself. Lets hope General Qamar Bajwa live upto the expectations of the people and not to betray their trust .
