The world’s reality and Pakistan's

But the percentage game is not the point. The point is that religion based demographics was the basis of both the countries. I guess in a way Bangladesh changed that and went back to an ethnic identity and present day pakistan and Israel share this same concept for their birth.

You are wrong about that. If that was true then Pakistan would invite all Muslims everywhere on earth in Pakistan like Israel does for Jewish people around the world.

The pre-partition punjab consisted of briths territoriy and sikh states, but combined muslims had only a slight majority. Ofcourse there were in higher concentration in the west as compared to the east. But in general most people were spread out across the region. So you had high cocentration of musilms in and around delhi while a high concentration of hindus in lahore or sikhs in hasan abdal.

This is based on the British census that were conducted from 1871 onwards (a few years after the revolt of 1857 shook them and they needed to raise the communal profile) Before that people didnt even know about religious demographics.

Here is a link that provides some data. Check out the tables and the last section that discusses Religious compostion

It was only after the partition that religious compostion of western and eastern punjab were homogenized as muslim and sikh/hindu. Before it was fairly mixed.

55% Muslims in United Punjab...that means all of Punjab should've went to Pakistan if 60% Jewish areas were to go to Israel.

Ok I as able to find a nicely tabulated distribution of population by religion per district. Out of the 18 districts that had muslim majority that became Pakistan, only Attock was 90.4% muslim or had more than 90% muslim.

It is really sad to see these though as it compares 1941 and 1951 census. In Indian Punjab, districts that had even 30-50% muslim population was reduced to less than 0.5% muslim in most districts. And similarly in Pakistan hindu and skih population was reduced to close to zero. The data is on page 12 of the paper.
