For the non-Indians on this forum, yes, these are not necessarily world famous, but have captured the current affairs of India and the world since 1976 with their amazing wit. I am always impressed by their ability to get their message across in one panel - a 'double' meaning cartoon, a catchy phrase, and importantly, tying it to their brand. In the last two decades, these cartoons have been ever-present in comic books, magazines and roadside billboards.

GB, By the way, Amul also stands for Anand Milk Union Limited. Non Indians can find out more on Welcome to Amul - The Taste of India. The Sanskrit reference was probably just a smart association by their branding managers. Going by these clips, one can believe they were behind the company's name as well!

Not also. That is what it stands for.

After AMUL there are many co-operatives in Gujrat who has came up with same name.

For example SUMUL. (Replace Anand with Surat).

they are creative buddy, i loved them all
but naming is world famous is funny you think peoples of Norway or Spain will be reading these hindi cartoons

If they were in English it was still understandable but they only used english script and mst of them are in hindi
