Lately I have noticed that all of Indian channels have started to call "Shaheed" to their dead soldiers. In almost every Youtube video I came across randomly, the anchor repeats "Shaheed" for the dead soliders almost 10 times in a minute.

Why this sudden change? Why adopting Muslim ideology to call dead hindu soldiers "Shaheed"?

I am genuinly curious and interested to know why the Indian govt feels that the word "Shaheed" to describe their dead soldiers elevates their status somehow?

Because we all know that without Indian govt approval their media never goes to such lengths.

I would really like to understand the thought process of our neighbors.

Well, India is a "secular" state only when it suits her.

In reality it is a state ruled by extremist hindus where a systematic effort is being made very agressively to dissassociate the country of modern day India from Muslim or Christian influence.

Demolishing of Babri mosque, removing of Taj Mahal from tourist brouchers, lynching people on suspicion that they have eaten beef are but a few examples.

Anybody who is anything in the govt echelons of extremist Indian govt has made it very clear that their country is explicitly "dharmic" and "foreign religions" such as Islam, Christianity etc have nothing to do with modern day India.

In this context, I still ask you why then disassociating yourself from anything Muslim on one hand, but exensively and agressively using Muslim terms like "Shaheed" for dead hindu soldiers on the other hand?

That does not fit together.

Extermists sitting in the govt must have seen some value proposition in it, and I would like to understand that value proposition.

In Islam, you can't be a Shaheed if you fought other Muslims, unless it's in self defence or they are Munafiqeen/Kharijis.

Fighting another Muslim (without the above requirements being met) sends you straight to hell, unless you sincerely repent before you die.

It is actually you who is stubborn and acting like a fool to forcefully declare your dead soldiers as shaheed which they aren't as per Islamic scholars from all over the world.

And I don't know what first line you read. This is the first line from the link I posted:

The above lines clearly say that concept of Islamic state exists and then gives definition for it.

On second part. Pakistan has dozens of Islamic laws in its laws. Its constitution is based is based on Islam. So yeah Pakistan is definitely an Islamic state. And a non muslim from India is no one to declare that whether Pakistan is a muslim state or not.

What is the value proposition there for this agressive portrayal of their dead hindu soldiers (who no doubt laid their lives for their country) as Muslim martyrs?

There isn’t one simply because they are just continuimg a cultural tradition which unknown to them completely contradicts all their fascist ideals regarding Muslims and Islam.

It’s better for them to make this correction and better align with their agenda for hyper-Sanskit within Indian society.
