A majority of these people are Pakistanis to begin with and they have the opportunity at their disposal to bring in the change themselves. The problems they face are no different than any other Pakistani and it downright propaganda to blow this out of proportion.

Illegal immigrants are however a different game all together. There are different options on the table for that and one of them includes deportation as well if only the Bangladeshi govt. complies sincerely. For this the ball is in their court and Pakistan has a habit of letting Afghanistan and Bangladeshi govt. to decide that on their time of choosing which has hurt us quite a lot historically.

So it is like being stuck between a hard place and a rock.

Dear brothers,just because of a number of repeated derogatory/insulting posts/ comments made in various threads by the so called Secular/Atheists/Hindus,RAW assets,along with so called progressive elements of Awami League, who all are highly valued and entertained by this prestigious PDF members, kindly do not create hatred amongst Muslims,instead, create unity and be rock solid to repulse/counter their nefarious agendas. My question now is why on earth are such members repeatedly being rewarded, while the Muslim minded ones are being negated? One of the prime reasons many are unwilling to participate, due to the repeated ganging up against them by these elements aided by the Indians members.

Surprised by how the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka dispatches their reports these days. Bangalis of Karachi have had their names on electoral rolls since the 1998 national census. Those who had valid CNICs at the time of elections in 2008 and 2013 would have also voted. Khwaja’s Pak Muslim Alliance, indeed, fielded three candidates in 2008 election – one for the national assembly and two for Sindh assembly (none of them polled more than a few hundred votes).

The number of Bengalis living in Pakistan which according to Pakistani members is more than 2 million, is highly exaggerated. Otherwise, these Bengali candidates in elections wouldn't have polled such low number of votes.

I think it's time Pakistan should grant citizenship to these people, they are Pakistanis by heart. It was the Bengalis and UP-Biharis who first initiated the Pakistan Movement and were the driving force behind it. Pakistan shouldn't tag itself as an ungrateful nation by denying citizenship to these communities.

Illegals are illegals. We are facing problems in providing equal opportunities to our nationals equally and you want the illegal aliens to be treated like citizens of the land?

That won't happen.

Only options:

1) Apply for citizenship and hope for the best.
2) Seek an Asylum
3) Respectfully leave the country as one should have done

They are illegal economic migrants not patriotic Pakistanis.

The patriots already hold Pak nationality... even PA's Bangali officers who remained loyal to Pak have settled in a Pak today.

I've met a few retired Bangali officers, veterans of 71.. most of them settled in RAWALPINDI... & very few in Karachi.

They remained loyal,became POWs,faced imprisonment and today are back in their own country Pakistan... and we respect and honour them.

What poles, many don't even have CNICs, and the ones who do have fake ones, being sorted out by NADRA, hence the noise!
Census is going on these days.. but I wouldn't be surprised.. there are literally a dozen Bangali ghettos in Karachi, a city of almost 30 million people.

Pak was the fastest growing economy in South Asia till the mid 2000s...whole Bangladesh doesn't exactly produce aeronautical engineers, go figure..

Even today you have almost the same population as Pak and not even half the GDP, despite Pak facing an economic crisis along with major natural disasters and a war, for the past almost 2 decades.
