I personally think this is a deliberate systematic approach by Pakistan. Pakistan has made it clear over the period of time that they have shifted their policy from political security to economic security. The biggest hurdle btw India pak relationship is the Hindutwa RSS ideology. Thus the outreach towards Indian media outlets is to appeal to Indian moderate audience and hence create a wedge between RSS followers and people with moderate views.
