beautiful... it reminds me of a japanese shrine whose picture i posted many months ago, except for those mountains of skardu and the chinar trees... and what is the nearest tree in the second picture??

i imagine myself in the first picture reading a space travel novel, maybe by ben bova, under the trees on the right side.

New Delhi is also greener and cleaner though not much calmer due to the Population load. Proper planing is what required for South Asian cities specially for the likes of Old Delhi.

I believe this is because Islamabad is a relatively new city built in 1960's, so its more planned. Dehli can be compared with Lahore, i think Amritsar would be definitely quite similar to Lahore

Very beautiful city and well planned. Besides the choice of location by the original planners is also good. Quite a retreat for civil engineers/town planners.
