I think the bias is overstated. There's other things that guys are under more pressure in, taking care of family, providing for the family, treating women with respect (women are not asked to do the same to men), not hitting women (again, women are not asked to do the same), etc. Not as one-sided.

yes everyone is thought the "these are good things" and that "these are bad things" but how many of us "men" follow them....dont we always take advantage of the muscular superiority !!!!!!!which we have over women......again how many women have the strength to overpower a man physically ?to actually beat a man.....

i agree guys are under more pressure to take care of family ,to provide for the family, this not because we are put into such pressure but because it is we ourselves who have put us in that position . we dont allow the women to work and provide for the family....we dont educate them as we do the men in the family...even if education is provided we keep them shut in the houses -----might be for their saftey---but who are we keeping the women safe from ? - men like ourselves!!!! That's some major self-loathing. It's irrelevant what we are taught we follow or not. We are still told to do those things.

As far being pressured to take care of family and that being our own doing, that is simply not the case. We are taught from young age to take care of the family and provide for them. Moreso, even in western feminist country where women make tons of money, the women pretty much for the most part still expect men to court them, pay for the dinners, pay the bills in a relationship, etc. That's how it for the vast majority for women. Women becoming educated and making money hasn't changed their attitudes.

I also keep hearing that a man should do this to please a woman, do that, etc. Never hear anything similar being told to women.

Women also tell to men how a man should never ever hit a woman. Do they ever say the same to women?

May I add that if 2 people in Islam have sex before marriage then they are supposed to marry and everything's fine. At least that's what I heard from other muslims.

Such issues remain taboo in our society and the worse thing is the lack of discussion on it can make a young person look for information in places he should not be looking at in the first place.

Peer pressure and lack of knowledge can lead some people to take decisions that they regret. Especially girls and the men in our society can be very hypocritical and need to learn some manners.
