Let's face it, the Quran burners were not some high school kids who did not know of the consequence of doing so in a country like Afghanistan.

This was intentional incitement of riots and has resulted in such, lives have been lost - more Afghan than American, and the American president yet again shields Americans from prosecution by foreign law, when the crime has been committed against a foreign country (we all know Raymond Davis saw no prosecution in the US).

Americans are in this region only to create trouble, I'm glad Afghanistan is realizing to this undeniable fact and the sooner we both realize this and work together with one goal - kick America out - the sooner we will move towards resolution of mutual affairs and prosper.

The test of American seriousness with Afghanistan would be if they hand over the culprits to face Afghan law or not. Will Afghanistan sit and watch as they abuse their system like they have in Pakistan?

That's right. Everyone in the entire WORLD knows the consequences of doing that, no one can claim ignorance on this matter.

Now they are claiming that US personnel serving in an American air force base, in AFGHANISTAN of all places, did it by "accident"?

Who are they kidding?

We all knows, that is last thing American will think to do ...
They never accepted mistake of RD who actually killed two humans... in which universe they will handover them. I doubt even they are in Afghanistan any more... They took clear advantage of people's weak emotional link in Afghanistan ... and those emotional people are nothing but hurting their very own country and future ...
I don't have any distance thought about what kind of advantage American's will get from it.
Even leaders from Afghanistan should concentrate their energy towards showing strong opposition to American's at international level rather triggering people from rioting in their own country which is almost leaving hell for most of them.

Obviously if the Americans fail this litmus test, it should be CLEAR, to Afghans that their future lies not with Americans but in kicking them out or else America will continue to harm Afghanistan over and over.

The amount of lives lost by Americans in Afghanistan are peanuts compared to what Afghans have lost in fighting this war. The few lives lost must have been of good American men and women, but to American powers they were wasted like sacrificial lamb - I can surely imagine what the lives of these 20-30 people dead mean to them.

I agree there will be no prosecution - but still good that Karzai has asked for one.

People all over the world should participate in peaceful protests and demand that. Its upon Americans to decide which side they take but whatever side they take, Muslims are going to win. This is "Khuda ki lathi".. chit bhi uski pat bhi uski! I know Americans wouldn't hand over those criminals and offenders and that simply means an "expose" of what America stands for and what a character it is.

If you have the guts catch the American soldiers and produce them in Afghan court! else STFU

They already failed.. now just see how they will make sure that world understand need of American boots on unstable Afghanistan.
For them Afghanistan is white board to try and test different strategies and weapons. But Afghanistan should know their right to tell America "leave us alone". I see no way of interactive and representational argument on this topic as in war only powerful makes rules and rest have to follow them ..

So even you believe that they burned it intentionally?

And no, America will not let them be sentenced in an Afghanistan court. And when the people of Afghanistan realize that, they will be even more pissed off than they are now.

My assertion then remains - American presence in this region has to be fought with vigor, fought tooth and nail, fought till the end...

Whatever America is for (in regards to foreign policy), every nation (especially Pakistan and Afghanistan) must be against it.

They can be several argument about it, like they don't knew about what book was that .. or it was not possible to go through each and every piece of paper to make sure nothing is wrong.
But first thing how it landed in American's hand .. who bought it in air force base and what are protocols of destroying foreign language artifacts. Things are getting messed up day by day .. Try to find those answers till time I will try to get some sleep to charge my neurons for Monday ...

Mate when we say fight .. but how.. we know they don't respect wish of larger population but force themselves by group of slaves, who are masters in art of making slaves in their own country ..
No one can match them by bullet to bullet .. see what happened to Iraq.. it was relatively peaceful country till SH was ruling .. and now .. rate of getting killed by bomb on main street is higher then active battlefield

It was discharged from Bagram base's library. Clearly the book remover's name must be in the library system. I say remover, not borrower since someone went through the effort of reading them - then declared that they contain extremist language and on those basis intentionally decided to discard them in a pile of garbage and then decided to set fire to the pile of garbage.

Moreover this was done as a tactic to infuriate prisoners illegally detained at Bagram air base, since they were the ones who regularly borrowed the Quran to find solace while serving indefinite jail time without being sentenced - that also shows abusive conditions the prisoners are kept in at Bagram airbase.

The whole matter would have gone unreported if the garbage collectors didn't notice the charred papers of the Quran and spread the word about American practices inside the insidious walls of Bagram...

Would Pakistan and Afghanistan handover the Perpetrators who Burn the American Flag and Chant Death to America?

How? In Pakistan there is a long brewing demand to hold a long march protest where by millions upon millions would pour in on a march and then hold ground in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to force the current leaders (civilian and military) out of power. I would suggest Afghans to march over to Bagram and Kandahar airbase and run it over. While I am confident that Pakistan Army won't open fire upon civilians as they never did during all the recent protests...

Americans may escalate by opening fire on civilians so one should be prepared for anything if they do then come down upon them harder.

Afghanistan is for Afghans and Americans should do as they are told by Afghans. Invite Pakistanis and I'm sure a few hundred thousand from Pakistan would join any march to overthrow Americans from Bagram, the symbol of American power in Afghanistan.

Would Pakistan and Afghanistan handover the Perpetrators who Burn the American Flag and Chant Death to America?

If it causes riots and loss of life, then they are bound to have them prosecuted.
