BYD refund is not because of quality issue but because of missing the deadline.

Thats not what happend. An agency of the notoriously lying U.S. regime claims (now that supply has stabilized) there were quality issues with "some" products of a foreign adversary they had until now depended on to justify banning some competition from that foreign adversary the U.S. regime has already made clear they are trying to harm economically with foul play and put out some vague anecdotes.

The report doesnt really tell anything about how many imports were really just banned or about any quality issues. Not just because U.S. regime agencies have zero credibility regarding claims about Chinese companies.

Remember its the same agency that granted these vendors licences in first place that banned them again. They could have cherrypicked strikes on some irrelevant small vendors for a purely political motivated attack that has nothing to do with quality issues. And 66 out of 100 vendors can still just mean 0.1% products from the 100 vendors.

The only thing that this report tells us that the U.S. depends on at least the 14 unbanned vendors.
