When companies like Microsoft or Apple are worth a trillion dollars on paper, you know there is something wrong with how US actually earns money (US would rather manipulate those stocks up or down to extract wealth). It's wrong to assume US will get destroyed coz China will stop buying their bonds. 2008 financial crisis was engineered by US and played out exactly the way they wanted.
