the "FSA" doesn't exist anymore, it's an umbrella term for a bunch of loosely organized islamist militias. They're a nasty bunch not much different to ISIS.

The day USA allies itself with such terror groups is the say US openly admits that it lost the war on terror. There is no greater proof of a loss than this moderate terrorist bullcrap. In the end USA has to admit that the war on terror made things worse and has now opened a Pandora box thatvit just can't handle and has to seek the help of its enemies just to showcase they have some degree of control on the situation...

If the FSA doesn't exist anymore. Then Putin wouldn't call them that. Are Kurds and SAA part of the FSA?

Russia didn't claim some great noble deed like war on terror to end terrorism. Russia came for her selfish reasons and Russia made that very clear. It even went ahead to say that Russia's interests will not be effected if Assad is removed. Their entire point of coming to Syria is to make sure that a pro Russia power like Assad or any pro russia govt stays in power. They made it clear from day one. Only fanboys thought Russia was there to save the middle east. The day Syria sees a pro states or a hostile Russia regime is the day russia lost and russia lost badly.

America on the other hand openly claimed that they were going to war to end terrorism. When you claim such noble causes and destroy nations to fulfill it and then ally with terror groups that were the reason you started this horrendous war, its the very meaning of a pathetic defeat.

But by all means believe the USA is winning as a bunch of nations are destroyed and a new terror is operating in nearly five countries with strength sndnis attacking countries..... The war on terror is definitely going the way of the states.

US should get out of Syria. When the parties either some form of terrorist and Assad. There is a zero win situation for US. Let Russia deal with this situation.

I would advise all Europeans to not take any refugees. Let Russia take them as only Russia has any skin in the game.

Would it matter that the Russians intervened for their own interests or fighting terrorism? After all they had their own experience in fighting terrorism on their own soil. All I am pointing out is that the Russians joined an alliance with different terrorist groups.
