The difference between India and some other country is, we have moved ahead from the past and marching towards future - no one is having magic wand to wipe the poverty out of a country overnight, it will take time and that too long time if we see the history - but in that regards India have done remarkably well, because not even an extreme optimist Indian would have imagined 20 years back that India will be able to have such amazing world class Roads, Metros, Airports, Offices of all the major Fortune 500 companies operations in India or foreigners coming to work in India...I can say many such things about India's growth story. We Indians are in right path towards a developed country and even this kind of The ugly Indian: Environment clean up initiative is testimony to a society which can get together to do their work for the betterment of society...

This is an excellent video which clearly gives us a picture where India today stands in global stage, 20 years back India was considered to be one of the poorest countries of the world but today people from abroad are heading towards India to work - they may not be coming in large number but this is great sign of a country's potential

Above are only few examples about India's success story out of many. Yes we have deficiency like any other country but today the youths of India are confident and positive about India and they are in right path towards a better tomorrow

You guys don't need to feel insecure with such topics. May be icewolf did not posted this topic with good intention but contents of this topic are not offensive. we should accept the reality even if its harsh. It don't matter if its about Pakistan, India or Bangladesh but its good as long as its create awareness about some social evils or environmental issues

These practices will not become good if they are also present in Pakistan, or Bangladesh so try to have constructive debate on topic and how we can tackle it instead of finding pictures of dirt in your neighbour countries.

Dude this is a Indian non profit organization, other countries you mentioned dont have much of a problem like India... Compare those countries regular avenues with Indias avenues, you'll see major difference

Thankfully India is in a postion,that others aren't, to spend its way out of the mess (pun intended). But of course it requires civic responsivblity and it is encouraging to see this on the rise. Education levels and civic duty have a positive correlation.


By the end of the decade things in India will be much,much better.
