The U.S. Empire is 'Fraying' and 'Collapsing': Pentagon Study

.
@F-22Raptor was the first who used the heavily edited video, and I was just returning him a favor.

The F-35 keeps proving the doubters wrong. It's performing superbly in combat scenarios. We will have 500-600+ by 2020. The capabilities it brings will revolutionize air combat.

The F119 is technically a low bypass turbofan engine.

But the huge difference is that the F119 is so low bypass that it is near turbojet status. That is why the guys over at f16.net calls it a 'leaky turbojet' engine. Those guys are far more knowledgeable than you and your pals here. That is why the F119 looks like it is in afterburner when it is actually not.

As for the F-35's demo flight in Paris. Whether you believe the video is edited or not is irrelevant. There were real professionals in Paris and they saw the entire flight. Your J-20 got NOTHING to match.

Then go ahead, keep building more F-35.

The F119 is low bypass, while the F135 is not.

Everybody knows that the low bypass is more suitable for the supercruise.

Can't even perform a real 90 degree uprising, looks like a byproduct of the F-22, let alone against the J-20.

The F-35 is more than anything your China have at this time and for at least the next 20 yrs.

The F-35 will eat the J-20 and shit out the FC/J-31.

A prey cannot eat a bird of prey.

Now you are the one who acts and talks like a 100% keyboard warrior.

They want to rebuild the F-22 in order to counter the J-20, and you told me that the F-35 can eat the J-20 for lunch? You need to act more accommodatingly with your master.

For breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

And please do not try to scare US with articles criticizing US military aviation using eye-catching words like 'crisis' or 'critical'. Those articles are dime-a-dozen, meaning they are useful only as BBQ kindling.

Not critical, but introspection.

The F-35 got all the hype in the Paris air show, yet France wants to build their own 5th gen aircraft.

.
hint for you: a country that can build such a system is hardly collapsing
Where did I say the US was collapsing (didn't the pentagon just say that) ? You were rambling on about B52s and Tu-95s.

.
The US/UK are focusing on the alternating current integrated electrical systems, while China is focusing on the direct current integrated electrical systems. These two integrated electrical systems are completely opposite on theory.

The notable ships with the ACIES are CVN-78/DDG-1000/LCS/QE class/Type 45, while the ones with the DCIES are Type 052D/055 and the future Type 002/003.

what about 420?

what does France have to do with it? France has its own aviation industry and has produced its own planes since the very start, going for F-35 would put an end to their aviation industry.

An according to him, the US railgun is not a railgun because it's not "pure" enough. We're dealing with a genius here gambit.

Yeah that whole "pure" comment had me wondering exactly what is it he meant.

Gambit, what are the problems remaining for the F-35? I haven't followed much of the news around the F-35 so in general when I read an article or two on it and they usually have a doom n' gloom attitude towards the F-35.

Well, France and Germany are looking at a future offensive air system, but it isn't at all certain that will be an aircraft, let alone a manned aircraft (more likely a system of systems, to the extent it includes an airframe you may even see manned, optionally manned and unmanned version of the same airframe)

He probably thinks France has F16's. He doesn't realize that Dassault builds most of their fighters. Not sure if they have bought any US fighters since the F4 Phantom.
