Why are Chinese so against Turkey? Is it because of their support of Uighurs? In that case, China should instead stop suppressing it's Uighur citizens by populating their land with Han Chinese and making them second class citizens. The smarter approach would be to create jobs there and integrate them as full Chinese citizens otherwise you will see dissent in your own borders, regardless of Pakistan helping you or not.

It is not about Turkey -China. It is about what's right in the rule of engagement. If Russia operated in Turkey airspace and was shot down in Turkey airspace, then that Russia fault but clearly Turkey CHASED and made a kill in another country territory. This is WRONG. Any civilized country can tell that Turkey is at fault.

I am pretty sure Russia will now throw its full weight behind the Kurds establishing a defacto state in Northern Iraq (outright independence can come later once it is stable and prosperous enough).

Strategically it is the very prudent thing to do since it will help to connect Syria with Iran.

People adress kurds as if kurds were a single entity.. in fact even the most radical pkk supporter kurds in Turkey hate Barzani more than Turkey.

Just like how shia arabs hate sunni arabs more than Iran. But of course nobody gets it.
PKK is a racist, terrorist group and Barzani is dictator who takes his power from his clan. Good luck establishing stability with these people.

True. But circumstances dictate the outcome. Barzani is just a character, but what if he and his haters agree on a kurdish state? then what? All those Kurds fighting Daesh, what will they do? Just go home? What if they ask for complete independence from Iraq?

Kurds in Iraq are already acting like a sovereign state, they meet foreign delegations and sell oil.

And by stability, one means that the war must be contained or Turkey's own state will be threatened. Countries hostile to turkey would be looking to support Kurdish rebels and some extremist groups.
