Hahah No... I myself didn't know about Baluchistan cuisine that much.. Randomly I found it somewhere on internet and though to share it.. and now I know why ghazi52 shares all this..Its love sharing your country's elegant things..People form across the border know about it.. Its pretty good feeling actually..

@anant_s an elongated flat bread, which is made by rolling dough over a preheated stone, the stone is then baked in Tandoor.
The prepared bread is quite hard.. that's why called "pathar ki roti".. and it's served with Sajji..

It's not baked in oven or tandoor ... It's baked on charcoal (covered with it).

Fish with roti? Maybe it's just me, but it is a bit weird.

Those spherical breads are very interesting!

Rice bread .. Not made from wheat.. It's eaten without it too.:.

We don't eat fish with rice .. That would be kinda revoltin.

I had roosh in havelian they use to make it on their weddings... Dampukht i had once in Dera most delicious thing i ever had.. And Sajji to chalti hee rehti hy..

Ah...rice breads! We tend to eat those with beef. Dry, spicy shredded beef to be more specific.

Revolting? :lol: A lot of Asian cuisines (including mine) eat rice with fish. This ranges from Bangladesh all to way to Japan. Some items like sushi are icons.

I have heard of fish burgers, which are comparatively uncommon. This is the first time I've heard anyone say rice and fish are revolting.

Brother that's largely because rice is the staple food in many of those countries..

Fried fish and rice won't go well unless fish comes with gravy or curry... And in Pak nobody would eat fish curry with rice (it's revolting for us).

We have several fish recipes but not curry.. And even if somebody makes curry (rare) it would be eaten with bread ..

It's mostly fried,dried,roasted or BBQ'd in Pak.

Sajji made in Panjab or elsewhere outside Balochistan is a bastardised version ..

The real Sajji is made of lamb..

Rooh and dampukht after Balochistan (best) would be in KPK.. Namak Mandi,Peshawar ..
