The truth uncovered. What strikes fear in the irhabists?

Armed American women who travel 20,000 miles (circumference is only 25,000 so those ornery gals be travelling the LOOOONG way around I guess) to give battle to these militants.

It's clearly on their minds-

Taliban Fight American Women For Their Freedom-NYT

Here's Abu Muqawama's response.

Here's what PBS says about our Lionesses-

Independant Lens-Lioness: PBS

and the accompanying NYT article-

Female Soldiers In The Line Of Fire-NYT

American women: we send them to fight over there so we don't have to fight them over here.

God bless our women soldiers.:usflag:

Please, this is uncalled for. We are nto here to denigrate others. All soldiers do a tough job, and that should be recognised.

America is Pakistan's ally, and a friend, albeit the relationship is testy sometimes.

Let us all keep that in mind.

"Just reminding a few proud folks here not to forget the past. We cannot hide the atrocities committed by the brave women of the US army. We haven't forgotten those images."

Those ladies just can't wait to get ahold of you, worm. Oh, and Mr. Khan. You'll make a lovely couple after they get done.

I'm not saying all the american soldiers are same but their is a group of them (maybe in western armies that is common) which didn't respect the rules.

The only sad thing is that everytime when U.S. army soldiers do such horrible things they just get out of the scenes and never punished because they are Americans.

"I'm not the Taliban..."

I don't believe you but it doesn't matter. They'll be happy to make a mistake in your case. Just like you did with the vast, vast majority of them.:agree:

Wow, I'm really touched by the tales of these brave women. Very courages women like Lynndie England. I'm sure that the people of Iraq and the Muslim world will agree with the above. Nevertheless -> :usflag:

The big problem you have is that you by your statement have denigrated all the women not the one or two you really meant.

That collective approach is unacceptable.
Nor is the sarcasm you applied in a collective manner acceptable

Your comments as presented are no different to anyone classing all Pakistanis as being on par with those militants who conducted the savage beheadings, or even the flogging clip?
Do I need to remind you of what you said in reference to those specific acts?
Just choose your words with care.

Thanks but I'd hope most your comments will seem patently obvious. Thousands of these women have now rotated through Iraq and/or Afghanistan. The vast majority of whom are soldiers in every respect while retaining the special dignity that befits a woman anyway.

It's not a big deal and the accumulated evidence just in my links would verify such to a discerning reader.

Thanks again though. Very much so.:agree:

In the article “Taliban Spokesman Blames American Women” I am a little bemused by the statement:
“Haji Muslim Khan, said that Taliban anger was partly caused by the presence of female American soldiers in the region. Mr. Khan said that Pakistan’s prime minister, Yousaf Raza Gilani, “should think about Western white women who take up arms and come from 20,000 miles away to fight against us here.”

My only thought is that he and the Taliban just don’t want to face the fact that it would be a huge face loss if some were killed by white women.

Considering that Pak army folks have surrendered before to the Taliban, looks like the Taliban find it easier to take the Pak army on than the american women soldiers.

Not that Taliban cant kill some of them, but even if one talib is killed by a women soldier is beyond embarrassment after all doesnt the extreme version of th ideology he follows relegate women to a very subservient and weak role?

That is inaccurate...

PA is not that easy to take on when it has been moved to fight TTP. Just the negativity of media and stupidity of politicians made it look like fighting a lost cause.
Pakistan ARMY has mostly fought to the last man in many engagements...many officers were martyred in CQB with TTP...barring one huge blunder in mistaking surrounding crowd for friendlies in 2007 (some army and mostly FC troops were involved) which lead to 200 troops being isolated and surrendering...It was the FC which surrendered here and there initially since they were quite not ready to take on fellow tribesmen and were under the illusion that TTP were not the enemy...things are different now with the FC and many actions fought by the FC actually surprised and repulsed TTP as well.

A cousin of mine (ARMY officer) was serving around WANA sector in charge of FC troops...at the time the FC was new to this war on terror and could not come to grips with the fact that war was with local anti state elements...to my cousin's horror one of his troops even opened fired on Americans once after a flag meeting...at the start my cousin was quite openly aware of how his FC subordinates disliked him...all changed in Ramadan when TTP fired 200 rockets at Iftar time on their base and later attacked them on routine basis...after a few weeks they saw an old man on crutches approach the post...at 50 meters the eagle eyed FC trooper saw that the saintly old man wanted to send them all to heaven via a bomb hiding under his armpit...the trooper raised alarm and 6-7 FC men emptied their clips into the old man sending him alone to the creator...after this my cousin's post dispatched a lot of would be bomber/attackers with ruthless efficiency which was unheard of before...by the time my cousin was posted out his troops were quite well oiled anti TTP machines and did not think twice in engaging hostiles even if they were locals...ethnic and linguistic affiliations were left behind and operational readiness and will to fight the enemy of the state prevailed...

Regarding women soldiers...TTP is too shameless to be concerned for getting killed at the female hands...it is just their typical 24/7 BS to look for legitimate (the word has really lost its meaning on TTP) excuses to target Pakistan!
BTW Muslim Khan has no remorse about cold blooded murder of men, women and children of Pakistan...why the sudden principles in fighting women?

Muslim Khan you are a stud for whose sake US Women travel 20,000 miles ... Way to go stud...i hope they capture you and news is made public...would be fun to see TTP reaction and your sorry Azz!!!

Your cousin in charge of the guy who killed an American major?
