there are people, still, who support pakistan, and cite the "qurbanis" for its creation and whatnot, but they should remember that even the original Riyasat e Madinah/Khilafat ended. even the kingdom of Prophets Dawood (AS) and Sulaimaan (AS) ended. law, order, justice, security, and economic prospects are what ensure the continuation of a state. there is nothing of that sort remaining n pakistan.

There is a terminology.

"Desensitized."


When people watch killing and death on TV they become desensitized

When people live in lawless environment they can't react or show shock

When people live in a system where there is no police or protection they become desensitized


But when someone views this from "Outside" they scratch their head


But what is stopping the Military from ensuring the voter's vote is protected?
Why are they patrolling the border, when inside the country the thieves are stealing voter's mandate?

Perhaps basics of the law would help.

Army cannot requisition itself in aid of civil power. The power that be only (i.e. Sind Government) has the right to call in the army through Fed Government. Army is not responsible for guarding the voting booths/stations unless the government asks for it (article 245).

So this silly lampooning of the army should stop. These are local elections that the city and province have to manage unless there is a law and order situation that the police/paras cannot handle. The local city/provincial authorities are not asking so how/why would the army parachute in?

My friend, the army is doing what is constitutional. A government is in place. Its tenure runs out next year and that is when elections would be held. Why would the army step in now after vowing neutrality or an apolitical stance by wading into early elections again?

The technocrat government is not a sure thing. It is being talked about. Who is talking about it? The sitting government is mum. Nothing has come or been leaked by the establishment to suggest the same. So I would take this talk as just talk.

The sanctity of the vote has been clearly violated. The ECP has failed to conduct UC levels properly. How the fish will it conduct General elections.
