The successes in Gaza and the experiments were not enough: Iron Dome lost in a huge tender of the United States Army
The U.S. Army has chosen Dentix's system to protect its forces from drones and cruise missiles over Raytheon's system based on the Iron Dome interceptor.

Where is the laser that was supposed to reinforce the Iron Dome and intercept rockets cheaply?

The U.S. military has opted for a system from the Dentics and Raytheon company, which uses a ground-level version of the AIM9X Sidewinder missile, over a system co-offered by Rafael and Raytheon based on the Iron Dome interceptor missile, the Tamir.
The choice was surprisingly accepted in the United States as well, as the Sidewinder is significantly more expensive than the Tamir, and does not have as rich operational experience as the Israeli missile, which has so far recorded more than 3,000 successful operational interceptions. Iron Dome even achieved 100% success in firing squad tests conducted on both systems at the United States Army missile range in White Sands, Mexico. Even in experiments conducted in Israel by the Ministry of Defense, Raphael and the Air Force, Iron Dome demonstrated its ability to successfully intercept drones of drones and cruise missiles.

According to the plans, the development of the system is expected to be completed by 2023, and by 2024 the U.S. Army will order 400 launchers and thousands of interceptors in a multi-billion dollar deal.
Raytheon has not yet responded to the military decision. Although it is involved in both competing teams, it is the main contractor of the losing bid and a subcontractor in the winning bid as the X-9-AIM missile supplier. It may nevertheless promote a future integration of the Tamir missile into the winning system. It is rare that large suppliers of the United States military challenge a loss in tenders, and succeed in changing the results. Boeing's success in canceling Airbus' victory about a decade ago in a huge tender for refueling aircraft for the US Air Force, and bringing about the publication of a new tender in which it won, is considered extraordinary.

In conjunction with the profit line

In 2019, the United States military purchased two Iron Dome batteries from Raphael, including 12 launchers and 240 interceptors, as a temporary solution to protect its forces, in a deal worth $ 373 million. The deal, however, was done under heavy pressure from Congress at the time, and the military has not yet positioned the system in one of the active battlefields of the United States, as in Iraq.
The Ministry of Defense invested the first 800 million shekels in the system, then since then the administration has allocated more than $ 1.8 billion in total. Half of the production is carried out in the United States by Raytheon, which continues. In its preparations to build a complete production line for Tamir missiles in the United States for possible deals with United States allies.

The Greek government is supposedly interested in the Iron Dome or David's Sling.
I think there were some talks between Greece and Israel for the iron Dome as well as drones.

Rightfully so. Iron Dome is overated.
It maybe enough to stop slow moving rockets from Gaza but not enough to track and destroy fast moving sophisticated rockets in possession of potential US adversaries.

If they struggled to destroy crude incoming missiles from Gaza then what chance do they stand against more advance missiles. This must be based on evidence rather than opinion and it also implies that the US is afraid of giving advance tech to the Israelis as it may fall into Chinese hands.

No army facing a regular military force would choose this option. It can only intercept some improvised rockets modified with hoses.

did you see what usa choose air to air missle with short range that cost 3 time more

No system in the world can stop 100 percent. I mean no system

Of course, they need better systems. Better means more expensive. If you have any doubts about this, you can look up some information and you will find that Iron Dome is a system only suitable for Israel. Others face enemies far more powerful than Hamas.

who say its better?

Iron Dome's interceptor missile uses a low-cost active radar seeker and a laser proximity fuse that allows the ground command system to predict where a rocket shell will land based on its trajectory. It is not accurate or maneuverable enough to hit a target with a kinetic warhead. Only low level rockets with a fixed trajectory. Even if the rocket has a range of more than 100km, it will fall too fast to intercept. And the maximum target limit for each system is only 200.

Modern rocket launchers can perform terminal glide maneuvers, using cluster submunitions, with terminal speeds in excess of Mach 3. Neither of them can be intercepted.

I might be wrong here, but the problem was Hamas used a heavy saturation attack a few years ago, launching hundreds of missiles(or was it thousands?)at the same time. I don't remember which year it was though. They keep fighting every year!
