There are two major Muslim groups in China , Hui Muslims and Uighur Muslims. Hui Muslims which are majority Muslim group in China dont seem to have much problem living in China . Its Uighur Muslims who have separatist tendencies but not because of religion but because they consider themselves as part of the Central Asian ethnic Turkic group . In other words Islam is not the real cause of Uighur discontent but ethnicity . In my humble opinion it is in best interest of both the Uighur Muslims as well as Chinese authorities to have peaceful relationship and coordination. Muslim world needs China as it is already facing hostilities in the hands of Western World , Zionists and Hindu hegemonists , and at the same time China also need good relations with Muslim world as the anti Muslim powers are also anti China . Both Uighur as well as all other local Chinese Muslim groups should realize that it is our enemies which are exploiting the fault lines not only among the Muslims themselves but also between Muslims and their friends . At the same time Chinese authorities also need to address if their are any genuine grievances among Uighur or any other ethnic groups in China which our enemies cannot exploit . I am sure the plans of our enemies to create problems between Muslims and China will fail and in future China and the Muslim world will come more close together in terms of economy , defense and culture !

At the same time, I have hope that this issue can be resolved peacefully by the Chinese government.

If China wants ties with Turkey and CARs, it will have to revise its Uyghur policy.
