But how does it work? Who owns it? Where IS the internet? And who makes sure it keeps running? In this video we find out.

There are 65,535 ports on the internet and each one is a different service. When people think Internet they usually think world wide web. Port 80 would HTTP - this is what the world wide web runs from. There are others such as mail, dns etc which are all different services on the internet.
