The Saudis & Emiratis have been sucking up to the Indians just like the Iranians for years now.

The Saudis & Emirati tilt towards India became even more obvious in the aftermath of the Pakistani refusal (correctly) to join the disastrous war in Yemen.

The Saudis & Emiratis took Pakistan for granted so much that they decided to include Pakistan’s name in the list of countries fighting in Yemen without a Pakistani decision, and that probably pissed them off that Pakistan could say no.


Let them - it’s a worthless, useless organization which apparently is controlled by Saudis who have sold themselves out to Israel and India.

From a Saudi perspective, they would have felt let down and cheated by Pakistan for not being reliable at the time of their need (in Yemen). The Arabs have stood with Pakistan to keep its economy afloat without much to show for in return. Be it soft loans or oil on deferred payments, both UAE and Saudi have been generous with Pakistan. In return, Pakistan has been overtly friendly with Turkey and conspired to form an alternate power block against Arab interests.

It was a given that at some point the Arabs were going to run out of patience.

1st of all standing by Pakistan and giving loans or deferred loans is one thing and not the most important. What the GCC asked is Pakistan send in forces — have the Arabs ever done this during our times of war? KSA itself is useless during the Arab-Israeli Wars they never fully engaged but just to the point to keep their territory safe and that’s about it. After spending billions every year and having the latest weaponry they still need Pakistan?

We need to differentiate between lending and physical support in our relationship with them.

I’m honestly happy this is happening we can differentiate between friends and non friends and walk our own path without any baggage and create a new alliance.
