The rising cult of China experts

Deport them. It doesn't matter if they are the chief reporter for the New York Times or some sexpat English teacher who runs a two-bit blog. If they spread propaganda that incites others to terrorism, then they are terrorism supporters, terrorism enablers, terrorism apologists, terrorism advocates, and they should be dealt with under the appropriate terrorism laws.
Maybe under mao or deng's regime. i don't see this happening under Xi.

.
Eh, the idiocy of these so-called experts is what started my interest in politics.

There are plenty of us that isn't really that interested in politics originally. However, myself at least, gets really annoyed if someone try to treat me as an idiot that can't tell right from wrong. Considering the garbage spewed by these people, it is no wonder so many people started to actively fighting them back on the internet.

Monitor their activities or just deny them entry to the country. Any country can deny entry to foreigner without reason.
But Cpc officials are too corrupt or maybe too scare to do so. They have too much money hidden in western countries.

Or draft new laws that inciting separatist activities is treasonous.
Deny foreign press from operating in China.
Kick out ngo.

You don't need to deport anybody, you can just simply stop issuing new visa to them. But I doubt those corrupt officals cares until their own azz bitten.

Correct. It took snowden for them to start rea'izing "gee we got a problem, Beijing"

I really hate those education instituations that recruit English teachers without any restrictions or background check, and usually those people are either spies or losers from their home countries. We should be more vigilant. Severe scrutinization on those guys please.

In first tier cities, a typical ESL teacher works 20 hours a week, earn 8000RMB a month, plus a free aparment from school. Even 40 h/weeks work load seems too much for them according to some of them. But then again, the blame goes to Chinese masses, the privilege status of foreign LBHs are granted by Chinese people.

You know what I like most of all, winning. It's not any monetary gains, the glory that's interesting, it's the winning part.

I don't care what these guys in china think they can do, and it doesn't really matter. They can do as they wish and it's better if they do.

NY times, whatever, stay and spread their stories, it's not entirely false, but it's not enough. what they say is questionable, the achievements on the ground isn't, it's real and it's tangible.

Deporting them is boring, the hunt is the fun, you don't need a fox on the wall, you need the thrill of making that fox run, and in the end, it's not going to change a damn thing, and make sure they know it.

When we win and we will win, they will eat their words. China not becoming Gordon Chang's dream and becoming better isn't shit to me, it's the fun of watching that bastard getting humiliated again and again, that's the fun part.
You can't win a battle by showing off your muscle, you need to fight.Your enemies doesn't really care how strong you are.If you don't deport them, they will still secretly destroy you while you are showing off your muscle like a moron.

Poor enforcement of the requirements, a Z visa in China requires a bachelors and 2 years of relevant work experience. When the 20 year old start becoming "language teachers", something needs to change.

You don't get it. The normal rules of human interaction do not apply because most humans live in societies with laws imposed on them, but nobody imposes laws on nation states. Thus relations between nation states are governed by the law of the jungle.

In the jungle, if a lion knows another lion is unwilling to fight it for territory, then that lion will tresspass on the other lion's territory with no fear, even if that lion is bigger and stronger.

Deport them? Then what? Are you going to shut off from the rest of the world? See no evil?

The world is here like it or not, America is the baddest man alive and EU and Japan is there to play the backup singer.

You deport them and what was only questionable can now be confirmed, I'm not sure if you know this, but deporting people is not a friendly act and isn't coming from a position of strength, if that were true North Korea or ISIS would be the most powerful nation on earth.

Any man can fire a gun, but it takes a champion to be respected.

Trust Chinese people, they are Chinese same as you and me, while there are those blinded by shock and awe of the West, but in the end tangible life changing results will alter the score board in your favor.

Like it or not China may have 1.4 billion people but it doesn't have any land outside of Asia, in order for us to be somebody we must win the heart and mind of everybody, Muhammed Ali didn't become the best by ducking people, sure he lost too, but he took on all comer and people respect him for it.

You can't win everything, but if you don't even try, you are not going to get that respect.

Why are there such thing as defamation lawsuits? After all, your respectability should be self evident from your actions, and suing someone for defamation just confirms that you have something to hide, doesn't it?

Deportation can be done by simply upgrading the related laws--such as raising the bar to be considered a foreign expert in China, which is not a deportation, but screening. What about asking for a master's degree, teaching certificate from institutions endorsed by China, and ten years experience (documented) for language teachers?

So, your understanding of strength is turning the nation into a human trash can so that low life burger flippers would be considered experts?

I guess you set the bar too low, my friend.

In my view, to be considered a foreign expert in China, one should at least have a PhD from a respected institution and a good track record.

When the West gets the best of China, why would China allow the worst of the West?

Your Ali analogy is incorrect. Ali won rhe heart of the people because he is confident, cocky and claim to be the greatest. China 's attitude is the opposite.
Letting foreigners step on you is a retarded way to win their heart.

And quit with this Liu Bei 'winning the hearts' of the people shit. westerners only respect power and strength, and willingness to back it up with a can of whoop ***.

Yeah, it's not about whether they are asking for too much, it is about the vanity of Chinese education institutions and the Chinese masses. If schools recruit foreign guys, they are supposed to be professional, so the English beginners and parents will have more confidence.

Just a matter of time.

A corrupt or scared country would not do this:

"China will uninstall the Windows operating system from 15% of government computers every year after Ni Guangnan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, filed an internal report to Chinese decision makers detailing the urgency of replacing the Windows system, Jinghua reported, citing an anonymous source with knowledge of the matter. The source saidChina’s state-owned enterprises will also stop using Microsoft’s chips, servers and software.

The move follows China’s May decision to ban government use of Windows 8, Microsoft’s latest operating system, out of security concern. By 2020, a “significant” number of Microsoft’s products will be replaced with domestic versions, the source said."

Which country before China has really challenged the US on so many fronts?

.
No.

Don't you remember the British Prime Minister went to China multiple times to plead for the life of a British man who broke Chinese laws on drugs?

How many times did he plead to stop the execution? And in the end, the British guy was executed. Even the repeated pleading from the British Prime Minister himself did not postpone it for a second.
Exactly. We don't give a flying BLEEP to anyone, any country that break our principle and law. We always do what we want when we want it. That how we roll.
