The rebirth of Jihad in Pakistan by The Diplomat.

Jihad and Allahu Akbar - these two words are really scary..You may be sued or put in jail in some countries for using these two words
Allah Akbar... every Muslim says it in every prayer... and normal conversation... it's the azan

@SarthakGanguly @Rain Man @Nilgiri @Bitter Melon @Syama Ayas @Soumitra @MagicMarker Do you people concur with my view that Pakistani Jihadis serve like asset of India ,bred and fed by Pakistani taxpayer?

I have given my reason on page two, though I am quoting you people here as this thread seem to have gone cold without discussion, due to being very old.

I wouldn't call them assets for India because they promote vitriol and violence on people within Pakistan that are positive feelings for India in many ways too. They target quite indiscriminately when they get case of spoiled brat complex.

Also Pakistan taxpayer does not have much option in my opinion in where their money goes....so how culpable are they overall?

So it depends on two neutral clear surveys asking 1) Pakistan public and 2) just taxpaying elite do they support terrorism against India. But that has never been done, and outside impressions get hazy in the fog of war.

But those in power in Pakistan must come to their senses and take clear action...it may only be then we see how ingrained these elements are in the power and social circles of Pakistan to make such a judgement call on it. Otherwise the support is just qualifiable not quantifiable.

I agree with your point 2 and 3.

About 1, India will do what is required to be done in kashmir, with or without jihadis.

About 4, Jihad is a byproduct of pakistans social, political and economic failure. Its not its cause. People need to take out their frustration somewhere and the Feudal establishment in pakistan channels that hate and anger towards India. Thus keeping their own seats of power safe.

Also Pakistan taxpayer does not have much option in my opinion in where their money goes....so how culpable are they overall?

This is absolutely rubbish. This is the same as saying that Cowards are not culpable since they do not have much of a option by the virtue of being cowards.

How about saying that Stupid and Lazy people are not culpable for low marks since they do not have much option in that matter ? So why not just give them all pass marks ?

Typical terrorist apologist thinking. Very "secular" of you.

LOL.....so now you want to defend India by taking survey in pakistan

Why don't you do a "pooja" in a temple so that those in power in pakistan come to their senses ? Maybe you can take a survey to see if that would work.

Come to think of it no one really took the survey of Nazis to condemn them as villains of the century. Clearly the German people did not have much choice, did they ?

The only realization they have is that Kashmir cant be taken through aggression & philanthropy.

What is the difference? Call it Jihad, nationalism or hate. Every country has its fair share of hardliners.

This jihad culture has been Pakistan's own undoing. If they still haven't learn their lesson then they deserve every thing that they get due to extremism. These organisations may hurt India once in a while but the ideology that they espouse will hurt Pakistan far more in the short and the long term.
India doesnt have extremist groups calling for similar actions?

No, sorry. We do have local right wing extremist groups in India but we don't have organisations here conducting jihad or any kind of extremists activities in neighbouring countries. We certainly don't have UN designated terrorist organisations operating from our territory unlike our neighbour.
