Why we have to learn from the west when our children perform better than you in school, and you are employing Chinese teachers to teach your children.

In Vietnam, most of students return from China, japan, Korea are humble, hardworking and be disciplined, while many graduated from the west are lazy and arrogant, always act as if they know everything. They generally become losers and contribute little to society.

I partly agree but you can't ignore the notion that BBC goes around shaming non-western countries which is aimed at convincing a western audience of how great west is and how horrible other places are. For instance, a I watched a documentary which is supposed to show the history of development in Singapore but the first part is colonial legacy (indicating the fact that Singapore wouldn't exist without British empire) and the other half are the issues of Singapore which are lack of freedom, problems of migrant families etc.

I am 100% Vietnamese, born and living in Hanoi. Not a single drop of Chinese blood.

I do not consider former Soviet Union and East Germany part of western culture, I mean the current rotten culture which make people indisciplined, lazy and arrogant, who prefer dancing and partying than work, who accept adultery and single mom as normal. That is one of reason to make their students, with all rich investment in education, perform far worse than students from much poorer Vietnam, let alone Japanese, Chinese, Korean or Taiwanese.

I lived in Reading, 60 km from London, for almost a year and certainly I know much about UK than Mike2000 know about Vietnam. From what I saw, I am not surprised that so many young girls want to go to Syria to fight for IS now.

The problem is that people who are anti-China are so active here, while who are pro-China, like me, just ignore. I do not want to quarrel with young and radicals.
