I have tried to pin point to actual location of reserves as accurately as possible using data from public maps.

The orignal TAPI and IPI Pipe line.

South Pars - Iran to Baluchistan - Pakistan where it would connect to existing gas infrastructure supplying to Karachi and other provinces of Pakistan. Using Pakistan as a transit point gas could be further pumped to India and China.

Alternate to TAPI, using Iran as a transit point for Turkmen gas connecting to existing IP pipe line infrastructure hence ofsetting some cost of laying the pipeline and completely bypassing unstable Afghanistan. Further downstream, using Pakistan as a transit point gas could be pumped to India and China. Once again Baluchistan will play a key role here.

Pumping Uzbek crude using Afghanistan as a transit point and Pakistan as crude shipping terminal at Gawader and Karachi. Based on actual study by Harvard. Actual image here

No place for jahil ajam in my thread!

This is not about economy and developing ties, it is about the importance in the energy game of west.

Try reading the thread I put up and you will see it encompasses the energy game

No offense , but i guess its too risky for any of these pipelines to be a reality atleast where India is concerned , Pipeline could be hostage During peace time by terrorists and during wartime things could get even messy .....

Oil through sea route via Huge oil tankers from the gulf ,Iran(especially Chah Bahar) should suffice for India .... If necessary Pipeline can be laid from Turkmenistan to Chah bahar from where it can reach India without having to pass via Afghanistan or Pakistan !

Energy is the prime reason of stepping the sanctions game against Iran while increasing american presense in CIS and building afghanistan as a regional base.

China + Pakistan's populations make >20% of world population. Considering the manufacturing potential and development in China, the total energy requirements could surpass the 20% of World energy needs. Any pipeline that traverses through Pakistan always has a potential to be extended to China.

This is the crux of the matter when considering US-NATO adventurism in Afghanistan and deterioration of law and order in Pakistan. Peace means pipelines, means prosperity in the area, means greater trade and inter-dependence in the area, means a multi-polar World.

The West, after 200 years of upper hand can not stand that, so, it has started to tread on the path that brought it riches in the past- PLUNDER. You are either with us or against us; join us and you will be a privateer (Allies/Coalition), go the opposite way and you are a pirate (terrorist).

Yeah but Pakistan's population is one tenth of China's.

The pipeline makes sense only if it reaches India but neither Iran nor Pakistan trust you.

And there is no way it going to reach China through Kashmir.
