In Germany forms a strong counter to Greta and Fridays for Future... called Fridays for Hubraum (Engine displacement)

simple slogan...we are more than you (Fridays for Future) ... first goal to get more members than facebook German Fridays for Future (73.000) was reached in only two days... founded at 22.09.19 Fridays for Hubraum has already 157.000 members... more than twice as much

They even started to mock around on the Fridays for Future Homepage showing the kids that within 48 hours twice as many people had become member in a counter organisation than they reached in one year

Time to stop this clima nonsens... and the environment NAZIS ...who only allow their point of veiw

Yes ... they have enugh of this shit that only costs their money but help not the world... Germany´s CO2 part in the world is only 2%... so harsh regulation only in Germany that cost a fortune and will most likely kill our most important industry and the wealth does not help the world... enviorment is a global problem and the world as a whole should take care... you know that they want CO2 tax for everyone in Germany ... increase fuel costs etc etc...

That is what I was thinking, I have been to Germany so I am aware of how low emissions are over there. Sounds like London where you have emissions zones and no idea if you can go into that emission zone. But you can be fined for being in that emission zone! Makes no sense but problem is they are rolling this out in more cities and mine is in it!

But CO2 tax on being a human is absolutely unacceptable. I sense or rather know that little girl is just a facade but is she wants to tackle CO2 then, She needs to visit Pakistan. IF she wants emissions tackling, but she wont

While the CO2 tax seems unfair, controlling emissions isn’t. Corporations need to be taxed or possessions(vehicles, anything that emits greenhouse gases excessively). People should just not be taxed in a blanket fashion as that is unfair.

For example today we seperate trash, use water based color, the rivers are clean again even in the Rhein are again fishes that could be eaten, the forrest is in better shape than 40 years ago...never befor the car had so little emission and low consuption, we do fair trade, build solar power and wind energy etc etc... sure not everything is perfect and many thigs could be done better... but we do not need a rich 16yo girly telling us what we have to do... and it is time that the silent majority stand up and say STFU now we speak and we the majorty tell the way to go...not a small group of environment NAZIS

I agree that the climate has been changing, but 7 million years ago.. dinosaurs weren’t burning fossil fuels.
The natural climate change cycle has been affected by human greed. Until we accept that, there will always be a conflict between those who will go the extra mile to try and prevent any further damage to the planet and those who consider the planet an infinite resource.

The problem is similar to human conflict. Until you suffer from the effects of burning excessive fossil fuels and other damaging effects much as one would not care against a tyrant in another part of the world .. they do not care or act against it until they come for them.

On the other hand, much as with Gun Control madness in America I do not believe in extreme measures such as banning fossil fuels or imposing a CO2 tax . I still don’t see the benefit of the electric vehicle supply chain in reducing environmental impact versus gasoline vehicles.

It’s never one side or the other, its always a discussion and compromise story that emerges as the facts.
