You are comparing apples with oranges. iPad does not replace the smartphone...will you carry a 10.5" tablet around for making calls..BTW you can't even make phone calls on iPad...except whatsapp and facetime calls if that's the only way of communication for you.

I think the best option for you is galaxy note 9 because that combines features of smartphone and tablet.
