22-year-old Luu Thi Diem Huong, Miss World Vietnam 2010, is in Las Vegas to represent Vietnam at this year’s Miss Universe contest.

At the national costume round to take place on December 14, the 1.74-meter beauty will wear an ao dai designed by Thuan Viet. The dress is made from natural silk and decorated with brocade patterns.

In 2010, Diem Huong represented Vietnam at the Miss Earth competition held in Nha Trang and won the Best in Swimwear contest and entered the Top 14 at the contest. One year later, in February, she was voted by Global Beauties online magazine as one of the three most beautiful Asian women.

Founded in 1952 in California, Miss Universe is an annual international beauty contest that is run by the Miss Universe Organization. This year, it has attracted around 90 beauties from over the world. The final night is scheduled to be held on December 20.

The make-up makes her look different. She is student (Hospitality in Restaurant, Tourism, and Hotel Management), was born 1990 in Saigon, Vietnam.

Vietnam's representative Diem Huong and her painting which will be auctioned to raise fund for healthcare organizations. The painting event is part of the sideline activities of Miss Universe 2012.
