One senior Sikh baba g vocalized what I have ALWAYS heard each and every surd friend of mine tell me over the years. Since we became adults, and politically and socially aware of communal and caste politics of our country.

Which is ...

This was NOT a Congress pogrom.

This was and should always be remembered as a Hindu pogrom.

Absolutely. In those rivers of blood in those days, and the decade leading up to that, everyone dipped their hands in. Even the Muslims.

And for many Hindus who did the butchering, there were countless others who risked their lives and those of their families to actually protect and save Sikhs.

The Shiv Sena being at the forefront between the Sikhs and the mob in those days of madness.

Bro its well recorded in Mumbai and rest of Maharashtra as well as other parts of the country which Hindu right wing cadre were protecting the Sikhs and fighting the mobs.

Its ok to demonize Shiv Sena but agar kiya hai to kiya hai. Cannot argue history.

There is a whole colony of Sikh refugees in Poona (Cycle Colony) who are alive today because of the Sainiks. Who worship the Sainiks.

Delhi is a stronghold of communists and pseudo liberals and yes many gundas also joined that time just to steal.
