Its RCS is 2M² and with Have Glass V it becomes less than 1 m².. some say max RCS is 4 Square meters..

And In short, because it is almost entirely new aircraf: About 15,000 test points (a very large but significant number) were carried out in cooperation between Boeing and the US Air Force.

The fighter upgrade to the wire control system (FBW) not only added increased suspension points, but also increased the fighter's maneuvering capabilities and increased the angle of attack ..

The combination of the most powerful fighter processor in history and the advanced technology package of radar and sensors, in addition to two aiming helmets that interact with each other, transfer this beast to a completely different level.

The chief test pilot who took part in the test program describes it as "Take it from me, this is not the F-15 of your father".

I still don't understand why KSA is obsessed with buying the latest and greatest military hardware, but then not giving proper training to its armed forces.

. .
Training is very good, much of it given by Pak Forces.
The training is gimped, if it wasn't, they wouldn't have had to rely on foreign mercs so heavily in Yemen.

The training they receive is good for what they get, but they don't get enough of it, which is the problem.

Their lack of training has made them nothing more than a token army. Their only properly trained forces are their special forces, and elite units.

No my friend.. the Saudi pilots are very well trained in the US and Britain.. no need to think otherwise.. Are the US pilots not well trained.. Yemen and Afghanistan have almost the same geography of very mountainous terrain where the rebels hide..

Actually much of it is given by the US armed forces and the Brits too..

Outstanding picture. Saudi pilots looking really good. Looks like a those new F-15SAs have received a lot of new additional MAWS placed in new locations. And the new GE engines are an interesting departure from the old P&Ws.

I'm not talking about Saudi pilots, I'm talking about general infantry.

Please re-read my previous comments.

Do Saudis have have any plan to localize manufacturing of military hardware such as these beasts like Eagles or helicopters or even Naval ship, submarines? Are they developing their own industry?

Their training is good. Secondly you know about their disasters because you get to know about them through media. Other wise sorry to say Pakistan has history of surrender in 1971 which we still haven't rectified. Finally in war on terror, I really hope the truth comes about from SWAT Operation to 2011. It's story of great sacrifices but also of pathetic planning and disasters of epic proportions that causes deaths way beyond what should have happened.

Lmao a surrender to save arses of 59k civilians... but blame them forces as always as for operations in Ex fata they were planned in an orderly manner and they paid off... army didnt go in without planning if they had all of Pakistan would have been a terrorist heaven not just ex fata as it was...

Army surrounded as well as precise ops and then major ops happened.. and we never know what would have happened if we Pakistani forces had gone in ex fata without surrounding if first...

And again their training is good but not consistent... and most of their trainers are outsiders... 1300 to 2600 Pakistani instructors and planners are present there..

And otherwise ? You had to bring Pakistan in innit ?

On the air force side, in terms of instructor pilots, Pakistanis have reduced a lot in the Middle East. They are no longer in significant demand as the Middle Eastern air forces have their own capable IPs.

How FC soldiers were surrendering in first few years is well documented. I know of various disasters which were made during this war, which costed Pakistan hundreds of life. We could have prevented those losses. You are bragging about entire thing because that is only part which was told you. But we have to give credit where credit is due. It was Kiyani who realized things were going south and started making changes in Armed Forces. From changing officers to introducing new training and tactics to providing well needed motivation. He did a lot for which he is not given credit.

Yes making 40% of the F-15S locally and upgrading 70+ F-15S to F-15SA locally too.. as well as maintenance is done fully locally..

Infantry is very well trained too.. but it is very difficult to fight in mountainous terrain.. even the US army couldn't in Afghanistan.. this is an unconventional war.. Hence resorting to air raids..

Their training is inconsistent, and plagued by incompetent/fearful leadership, who fear that a strong army will turn against them.

This is why KSA has extremely good elite units, but a general army that can barely function.

Why did they feel the need to send mercs into Yemen, if they were so confident in their army?

Why does KSA constantly ask for foreign military support from places like Pakistan?

Their training is inconsistent, that is the truth.

The infantry's quality is inconsistent. The KSA army has elite units, but the general army is barely good enough to function as a defense force, let alone one that's capable of offensive operations.

The only Gulf Arab army that I can say has a good degree of competence is the UAE armed forces.

I have to disagree with you friend.. because there is the SANG too.. an no one is scared in the leadership.. the army is quiet, you don't hear much about them.. but that does not mean there are inconsistencies or incompetent.. their role is to defend the country and they are very well trained for that ..as well as the SANG who supports them.. They are like the UAE.. but bigger and much more powerful!

There were never mercenaries in Yemen.. only The Yemenis faithful to to the government and the Arab coalition supporting them.. against the Houthi rebels backed by Iran..

Asking for support from allies is more of a political thing than military per se.. Even the US asks for that kind of support when going in a conflict.. can you imagine!

Here is a gift for you..
