The Kharotabad (Quetta) Incident

And so really there is no difference between TTP and AQ -- TTP, AQ or by any other name, they are now an "international" threat, would you agree or do you suppose TTP are US mercenaries?

The moment this realization comes to Pakistani awam that its not just x y or z group that matters so much, but the extremist ideology and violent teachings, Pakistan will start reversing the ill that were once sown by General Zia and start reversing the wheel of fortune for betterment of Pakistan. Unfortunately, as of now, a high percentage (including highly educated ones) still try to differentiate between good terrorism (read freedom fight) and bad terrorism. The ideology is the main culprit. Along with killing those mofo terrorists, the ideology have to be dislodged from its root..

wat will chechens get from this?????

Today PAk army has kkilled 5 chechens and which includes 3 ladies.....
DOn't u think they will strike back???

I think Chechens are against Russia right???

Is this linked to the Zardari offer of warm water to russia few days back????

Someone outside of Pakistan is definitely recruiting these Chechens, Uzbeks, Tajik, Sudanese, Afghan terrorists into the country (maybe the CIA, RAW, Mossad or MI6). The TTP is made up of all these nationalities & has known links to AQ, which makes it different from the Afghan Taliban. I hope people can clearly see the difference between the two now.

Dare I say it, but maybe Pakistan needs the help of the nations friendly to it. Maybe have some Chinese, Turkish troops inside the country as well to fight these terrorists, everyone seems to want to cause trouble inside Pakistan, & the security inside the country needs to be brushed up, as a lot more manpower is needed to tackle all these terrorists.

Welcome to Alice in Wonderland.

We are still differentiating between Good Taliban and Bad Taliban.

There is a difference between the Afghan Taliban & the TTP, & it's clear as day to see. I never said one is good, or one is bad. Contrary to what you think, Mullah Omar does not have the authority to recruit Chechens, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Sudanese as they follow a different school of thought than the Afghan Taliban does. The Chechens follow the Shafi school of thought, the Sudanese & Uzbeks follow the Hanbali school of thought (the ideology of AQ), but Mullah Omar follows the Deobandi (Hanafi) school of thought. These 4 groups are ideologically different from Mullah Omar, so Mullah Omar & the Afghan Taliban have no control over them. The 4 groups are more aligned with AQ than they are with the Afghan Taliban.

If China has allegedly put troops inside Pakistani Kashmir as per Indian sources, they wouldn't mind helping Pakistan shoring up their numbers in other places as well.

These Chechens are obviously coming through Afghanistan, what are the NATO forces doing to stop the cross border infiltration of these terrorists from Afghanistan to Pakistan? Hypocrisy at its best. The NATO & US forces don't want to attack the safe havens for terrorists in Afghanistan that they use to attack Pakistan, while they want Pakistan to go after the safe havens inside Pakistan. Hypocrisy at its best.

there is a big diff in placing troops & putting them in action

Great work FC. No wonder BLA and it's sympathizers are always afraid of FC.;)

Somebody must have provided them free passage through Afghanistan..They are way far off their home...
I just hope Chechens dont start perceiving Pakistan as their new target..

If they want to sacrifice their soldier's life for the cause, who's stopping them. But nothing in this world comes free. They will have their pound of flesh through military bases, preferential trade agreements etc.

As you can see from the post by Bilal above, we're not there yet and it might a very very long time before we get there, if at all.

Just a deep denial -- and now some Yemeni terrorist has also been arrested - again, why does Pakistan remain the preferred destination of terrorists from all over the world?? I know, it's a conspiracy - Yeah sure, It's the usual bad guys, they want us to have terrorists
