China's official media CCTV has already confirmed that there were several SSNs following China's fleet that trained between the Indian Ocean and the West Pacific Ocean.

Meanwhile, they could only detect the surface vessels, and none of the subs has been spotted so far.

So much about China's "noisy boomers", and where is the second most powerful anti-sub force in the world?:omghaha:

Submarines are the almost perfect weapon.

I am sure that the upcoming Type-095 SSN will have the capability to credibly threaten US carrier battle groups.

This also proves why people like Hans Kristensen are absolutely shameless by obnoxiously claiming that China's next generation boomers will be noisier than the 1970s Soviet boomers.

And where is that fabled 'high Chinese IQ'?

Subs do not publicly publish the hows and the whens of if they detect anyone, surface or under. For surface vessels, if a sub is tasked to monitor them, the sub commander will do so, but it does not mean he willfully ignore the potentiality that there will be an adversary sub somewhere in the area. You have a false understanding of the word 'track' in the first place. For a sub, it does not mean he must be behind his target in order to 'track' it. He could be in front, side, or even below. As long as he know where his target is, he is quite well tracking his target. Army trackers, especially in the special forces, routinely practices this. I am Air Force and I know this.

Sheeesssh...So eager to swallow anything...

Whats with the tittle of this thread?

These people are not stupid. They have an agenda.

China's submarine hull building and nuclear propulsion technology is ahead of where the Soviets were in the 1970s and so this assertion makes no logical sense.

China has more high tech than USA, and clearly than Japan.
Japan is so weak, that why they need the USA and others' supports.

Don't blame them for finding the way to survive ...
