I have a question since you seem to suggest it's the problem created by the west,there might be half truth in it.
All these mujahideens,taliban , Al kaida ,are they not Muslims .even if we agree for a second what you said is true but that leaves a question are Muslims so easy to manipulate that too by non Muslims .

I said there is contribution to the conflict by the west, read my post again.
And its not about being muslim you can do this with any region thats poor, has no state providing security and potential for conflict.
Another exsample of outsite inteference is the genocide in Ruanda where Belgium is also responsible for the conflict between Tutsi and Hutu.
You see Some countries have interest in throwing others into Chaos for various reason and the easiest way to do this is to use the local conflict potential, and this can be done with any region no matter which religion when the circumstances are given.

If you want to get an idea of Islamophobia in Europe read Edward Said works like Orientalism you will see that Europe's Islamophobia is nothing new but goes back centuries.

Turkophobia or Anti Turkism dates back to the Huns got worse with the Crusades, Mongol Invasions and the Ottoman invasion of Europe.

Ever since the Ottoman Empire collapsed and the Republic of Turkey was founded this increased the hate even more due to the fact that the Turks could not be kicked out of Europe or wiped out for good.
