At a press conference held by the commander of the Indian Navy, Admiral Karambir Singh, last Thursday on the occasion of Corps Day, he stated that the corps was acquiring the Smash 2000 intentions of the Israeli company Smart Police as a means of combating drone threats.

This acquisition, according to the Admiral, is part of the steps taken by the Indian Navy against possible naval threats on the part of China. No details were provided regarding quantities, costs and delivery times. The Admiral also confirmed that the "Heron" (manufactured by Israeli IAI) UAVs were deployed on the northern border of India with China against the background of tensions between the countries in the eastern region of Ladakh.

The Smash 2000 sight is a smart electro-optical rifle sight that includes a fire control system and a shooting computer. Aiming significantly increases operational shooting accuracy and significantly improves shooting percentages in a variety of target types (stationary and mobile). Smart Police Company has confirmed the existence of this transaction.
